Bute House - Great Sea Views!

Apartment:
1st floor apartment with spectacular sea views across the bay and to the mainland.
Flat consists of a family bedroom (double bed and three single beds) overlooking the bay and a double bedroom.
Lounge offers beautiful sea views and is equipped with a 4k HD Smart TV allowing access to Prime, Netflix, Now etc (with your own account details), blu-ray player and digital radio.
Dinning table seats four.
Galley kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. For the coffee lovers, a Nespresso machine is also provided.

Location:
The flat is located on the waterfront in Ardbeg. This is a gentle 30 minute flat scenic coastal walk from the ferry terminal in Rothesay or a 5 minute drive. Alternatively, if using public transport, you can access several buses or the taxi rank at Rothesays Guildford Square (across from the ferry terminal).
The bus stop is across the road from the flat and gives access to any of the main sights on the island (Mount Stuart, Rothesays Castle, Guilford Square, Ettrick Bay, and the main ferry terminal).
The location is quiet and a five minute walk to the Skeoch woods which also provide some gentle woodland walks overlooking the coast.

We had a great stay in this flat. The location is great and the view from the living room was amazing (Would be happy to watch the ferries come and go drinking tea for ages!). It's a great base to explore Bute. Kitchen is well stocked and host was very responsive. We were short on some disposibles for our stay (dish cloths and toilet paper) and although clean enough for us, may not have been for others.

Lovely view

Bright, clean and comfortable apartment with lovely view over the bay. We had issues accessing the keys but owners representative on the island solved issue quickly. Only downside was the stairs, they were a lot steeper than we anticipated. We are an older couple and struggled to get our luggage in and out of the flat.

Great base for a few night on Bute

As a family with two small children, the apartment was ideal. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, and the view from the sitting room to die for! The kids loved using the binoculars to look at the boats in the bay. The bathroom is small with just a shower (no bath) but fine for a few days. 5-minute drive from the big Co-op in Rothesay.

The apartment was spacious & well equipped for five of us staying for a walking weekend on Bute. The apartment has an amazing g view over the water and was about a 10 min walk to the centre of Rothesay. Would highly recommend staying here.

Gem of a property

Highly recommend this flat, very clean and tidy. Received full instructions from the host who also kept in touch during the holiday, making sure everything was okay. Magnificent views across the sea from the living room window. Nice and quiet. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Extremely comfortable beds, the most comfortable I’ve ever come across. WiFi was very strong.

Great apartment

The apartment is clean and comfortable with great views. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking although apart from salt, pepper and cooking oil there were no other basics such as tea and coffee.Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to park in front of the property. It might not suit those with mobility issues as the (internal) stairs to the property are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

A fantastic location, right on the seafront, about a twenty minute walk from the town centre. Can be a little chilly in winter but is clean and well equipped. Host replies promptly to messages and is very helpful.

We spent the New Year on Bute and the was in the perfect location not only for its views over the Firth, but also for exploring the rest of the island. It did feel a little chilly on arrival, but with the clear instructions we were soon able to get it feeling nice and warm. We had to extend our visit for another night as we didn't realise the ferries didn't run on Bank Holiday, but this was not a problem - for Campbell or for us!! Campbell was extremely helpful before and during our visit, so a big thank you!

Lovely accommodation with stunning views

Had a long stay at the property, the accommodation is very spacious and clean with loads of amenities. Locations is great with just a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The views from the living room bay wjndows is breathe taking. Would definitely recommend staying here

A well-appointed, spacious flat with gorgeous views

We had a lovely long weekend at Campbell's property in Ardbeg. It was super convenient to meet up with family staying in Rothesay - just a 3 minute drive - and incredibly easy to get to anywhere on the island by car. We also enjoyed some scenic morning walks - and one chilly swim - with the dog. The flat was very comfortable, the living room has stunning views from the large bay window, and the kitchen was well equipped. Campbell was excellent at communicating before and during the tenancy, I'd love to visit again soon. again

Beautiful Bute

The upper apartment was really good. Clean, comfortable and spacious with terrific views across Rothesay Bay. It as well equipped and everything seemed to be working ok Couple of minor concerns: 1. Parking was off road as driveway narrow and unsuitable for parking 2. Kitchen floor covering in need of replacement. Was sticky and tacky underfoot and had a tear in the middle of the floor. In a food preparation area this could be dangerous 3. Bedside lamps( candlestick style were extremely difficult to switch on and off Otherwise our stay was really good and we enjoyed our trip to Bute NB We had no contact with property manager but the owner communicated really well and very helpful
