「We were not originally planning on staying in Middletown but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Garden House is very comfortable and convenient to many things in town. 「Location was good, nice view, but I didn’t realize highway 20 was just 40 yards below the deck, thus somewhat noisy outside. The host was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. There was some dirt on blinds and window sills, but not bad. 「I came up with my teenage son and some of his far-flung friends who usually only meet on zoom and wanted to have a getaway together. They cooked, hiked and played board games. Everyone liked the house. It looked even nicer than the pictures. Very roomy. Lovely rural area to explore. Everything we could want for our stay except the wifi could be better. 「We had a great time. It did make us a little nervous on the windy road getting there but once we were there it was so great. There is a dirt drive way that has an incline so it made it hard backing up our boat the truck was sliding. The next day when we were taking the boat to get inspected after words we didn’t launch it at the house. We launched it at a boat launch across the lake.
