"Yala Safari Camping is such an incredible & unique experience. The tents are so nice, the staff is beyond incredible. I stayed as a solo female traveler back in December and I felt so safe and taken care of. They help coordinate two safaris for me during my stay. The wifi wasn’t working while I was there so they gave me a hotspot to borrow while I was staying so I could keep up with work calls and emails. "

"Worst Experience – This is Not Even a Hotel This place should not be listed as a hotel. It is located in the middle of nowhere, completely inaccessible by car. We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the entire facility was in a state of severe neglect. Mold was present everywhere — on the walls, ceilings, and even furniture. Easily accessed by public transit if you've got the correct address. Make sure they know you're coming, as they were unaware I had made the reservation. "The room was ok, with good views of the lake, but found lots of creepy crawlies and insects in our room one inside bed, and one inside of a folded towel, the food was not that brill, we ordered prawn curry but they gave us shrimps, with watery gravy, probably ok for the locals. "
