"Gwenn at reception was amazingly helpful and courteous. I can’t say enough good things about her. Took time to work through problems with Hertz car rental. Room was clean and comfortable. My second stay in a Brit Hotel and will use them wherever possible. Rooms are basic but well maintained and have everything I need. Be aware reception closed at 2300. "

"The room was in a thoughtfully renovated property which served a tasty breakfast. It was in a town with plenty of restaurants along the river. The owners were very pleasant, the 2 brothers who had worked on the house. "

"Staff were friendly and that's about the only good thing I can say, the carpets in the common areas are filthy, there was no hot water for a shower and we were woken up at 1am by loads of drunk guests shouting. I got about 3 hours sleep. Wouldn't recommend."
