“Location, setting & surroundings are excellent, peaceful, nested courtyard compound. The adjacent church bell, on the hour is ok, presenting some ambience in a very quiet location. “Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
