Very pleasant and relaxing P2 between Nîmes and Arles at the gates of the Camargues

P2 with private entrance and shaded garden with garden furniture and sun loungers. It is provided with a 140cm bed with sheets and blanket, television, wifi, heating, a bathroom with towels and bath sheets and wc, independent kitchenette equipped with a fridge, electric hotplates, kitchen utensils, crockery ... etc. There is a third independent sleeping area in 80 with sheets. It is located on the ground floor of our villa, protected from view, in a very quiet residential area, 15 minutes walk from the heart of the village and its shops, restaurants and its typical colorful market which is set up twice a day. week (15000 inhabitants). You will be able to appreciate the peace in the pleasant flowered garden around the swimming pool. Possibility to park your vehicle on the property.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft gewählt, um von dort aus mit dem Fahrrad die Carmargue zu erkunden. Dank Komoot und ausgezeichneten Fahrradwegen nach Arles und Umgebung war dies auch wunderbar möglich.Der Garten ist sehr schön und mit vielfältigen Blumen und Bäumen bepflanzt. Leider war die Ferienwohnung nicht sauber. Als wir diese betraten kam uns ein stechender modriger Geruch entgegen, das hat natürlich den Urlaub stark beeinträchtigt. Auch als wir am Pool lagen wehte einem immer wieder ein beißender Geruch entgegen. Wir können die Wohnung, so leid es uns tut, nicht weiterempfehlen.Sorry.

Sehr nette Begrüßung und sehr schöner Garten und Pool. Die Wohnung war sehr klein, was uns bewußt war. Leider war dìe Bestückung in der Küche sehr überschaubar. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Sehr liebe und reizende Gastgeber. Dir Wohnung ist sehr klein aber zweckmäßig. Tolle Gegend mit Nimes, Arles und Avignon und Reichweite. Ideal für Hundebesitzer. Gewürze, Salz usw ist nicht da, muss man einplanen.

We did not learn from the description that the gîte was a downstairs room in owners house, on a housing estate, on a steep hill with no parking immediately outside. The owners were very pleasant but the room was very dated and furniture well worn. Not what we expected.

Location correcte avec toutefois un désagrément majeur qui est une forte odeur de salpêtre et d'humidité imprégnant toutes les pièces et tous nos vêtements. Impossible d'ouvrir complètement la porte fenêtre de la chambre, le bois étant trop gonflé, elle frottait le carrelage. Aération difficile. Suggestion: une climatisation serait bienvenue vue la chaleur de la région en période estivale.

Sehr freundliche Vermieter, wir konnten den Garten und den Pool jederzeit nutzen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Provence und Camargue zu erkunden. Kurze Wege in alle größeren Städte. Mit Hund ist der Strand Piemanson Plage in Salin de Giraud sehr zu empfehlen.

Bon Séjour

2 semaines passées chez Mr et Mme Goret, nous avons passe un très bon séjour. Accueil et présence sympathique tout en restant très discret de la part des propriétaires. Nous avons pu profiter parfois de la piscine en accord avec Mr et Mme Goret, puisqu’ils recevaient leurs petits enfants pendant le temps de la location et ne voulions pas déranger. La localisation de la location nous a permise de visiter la Camargue avec des temps de route raisonnables. P2 très calme à l’abris des regards et du bruit. Encore merci aux propriétaires de leur gentillesse.

Des vacances trés agréables

Wir haben uns in dieser charmanten kleinen Wohnung im Untergeschoss des hübschen Hauses der Vermieter sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig für 2 Personen mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und dekoriert. In der Kochnische ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir haben jeden Tag ausgiebig und herrlich draussen gefrühstückt. Für das Abendessen gibt es direkt im Ort zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, die sogar zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Man geht ungefähr 25 Minuten gemütlich bis ins Zentrum und kann sogar am Fluss entlang spazieren. Überhaupt ist der Ort der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu allen sehenswerten Städten und Dörfer der Provence, ans Meer und wirklich ein Katzensprung in die Camargue. Wir haben den Urlaub mehr als genossen. Besonders vorzuheben aber ist die liebevolle Art unserer beiden netten und sympathischen Vermieter Maya und Orphila, die sich mit viel Herzlichkeit darum gekümmert haben, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Die beiden sind unaufdringlich und waren aber immer mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle, wenn nötig. Die Eingänge und Terrassen liegen jeweils auf den anderen Seiten und so konnte jeder für sich sein. Der Pool liegt im paradiesischen Garten der Vermieter und wir konnten diesen jeden Tag genießen. Maya und Orphila haben uns Ihren Platz an der Sonne zwischen Blumen und vorm Teich mit Fischen und Fröschen dafür jeden Tag zur Verfügung gestellt. Vielen Dank, liebe Maya und lieber Orphila, für die schöne Zeit bei Euch Eure Herzlichkeit und die guten Gespräche. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Camargue entspannt

Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit für die Belange Ihrer Gäste kennzeichnen die Gastgeber, ebenso die guten Tipps für Ausflüge in der Region. Der Gastgeber spricht auch deutsch. Ds kleine Appartement ist ausreichend für 1-2Personen. Hunde sind willkommen, so dass wir uns, Mensch und Tier in dem wunderschön angelegten Garten, am Pool und in dieser Ruhe sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Saint Gilles ist ein kleiner Ort am Rande der Camargue, mit einem Wochenmarkt und ausreichend Geschäften für den täglichen Bedarf, die in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar sind. Von hier aus lohnt sich ein Besuch der Städte Arles, Nimes, Sainte-Marie und Avignon. Mit Hund ist der Strand Piemanson bei Salin-de-Giroud zu empfehlen. Eine kulturrell, künstlerisch und an Natur reiche Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A perfect retreat

I absolutely loved staying in this peaceful and beautiful place. My hosts were so welcoming and friendly and took such an interest in my various excursions in the area. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the property is set in such an amazing location for a wide variety of attractions, the Camargue itself, the beaches of St Marie & Le Grau de Roi, Van Gogh & Cezanne country, and the many Roman and walled cities of the area. I loved it.

Entspannte Zeit in fantastischer Umgebung

Die Wohnung ist süß und ideal für ein Paar. Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt und der Hund konnte frei laufen, während wir am Pool lagen. Der Garten macht den Fotos alle Ehre! Die Vermieter sind super nett und geben auch gerne Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung! Im Vergleich zu unserem Französisch ist das Deutsch der Vermieter super ;-)
