Disliked: Check-in, communication, location
It was fun.
We’ve been vacationing in the area for 30+ years and this is our first time on Fripp. The villa is above the islands convenience store and gift shop. There is an outside elevator but unknown how to use it. When we arrived we found that we needed a code to access the rental that was not provided. Communication was through text so it was easy to communicate but took some time. First night was great although it would be nice if there were extra blankets. First morning we found out that the coffee maker did not work. Shot a text to the property manager and a new coffee maker appeared around noon. If you’re staying more than a couple days, make sure you bring toilet paper because you’re only provided one roll. 3rd day we walked in on 2 guys trying to replace a door on a piece of furniture. That would have been nice to have been told they would be there. Kind of surprised us. Finally, the last day, it rained so hard that the parking lot flooded. You will need a pickup truck to get out of the parking lot. And taking the golf cart back across the island was definitely an adventure. All and all, we had a great time. Great beaches. Great food. Great people. Loved it. Thanks.
