Sympa mais un peu bruyant

Personnel très sympathique. Très bonne situation beaucoup de restau, la plage à côté . Le seul bémol un peu bruyant beaucoup de porte qui claque.

Pour ce qui est de la propreté, confort, le top n'est pas acquis en raison de l'état du caillebotis autour de piscine, probablement mal posé, dommage pour l'hôtel mais pas dérangeant pour se baigner.

Le seul point positif de l'hotel est le calme de la piscine. Pas beaucoup de monde donc appréciable. La salle de bain est à revoir, mobilier tres abimé L'accueil est déplorable, une seule femme gerait l'arrivée, la sortie et aussi le bar. Elle ne sentait pas la rose, avair l'air toujours stressée et ne semblait pas connaitre bien lhotel. Le verre d'arrivée, degueulasse. Pas d'hygiène.

Accueil pitoyable. Une nouvelle qui connait même pas les chambres et vous rentre dessus dès que vous lui posé une question. En ce qui concerne la chambre nous avons retrouvé une serviette hygiénique utilisé dans les placard et de la poussière partout! Les lampe ne fonctionne pas et la clim fuit sur les prises électrique.

Good value, great location, rooms could be better

Room was reasonably sized and bed was comfy. Efficient cleaning service kept the room looking nice but no window in the bathroom meant it smelled damp and we saw some cockroaches. Front wall of the bedroom is a large window so you must decide between privacy and natural light. Staff were pleasant and friendly but not very helpful e.g. on arrival when we asked for advice on where to eat they did not mention that many restaurants close on Sundays and those that do open is usually after 7pm! Pool and bar area are comfortable and welcoming. We had breakfast there as it was convenient, there is a good buffet but at €10 it's a bit expensive when there is a great boulangerie nearby. The hotel is right by the beach and there are a few nice restaurants very near by (Italian, Thai and crêpes) as well as an amazing Creole buffet not far away. Parking is not always available out front, but there are lots of small streets to pull in.

In die Jahre gekommen....

Bereits vor ungefähr 20 Jahren habe ich einmal einen Aufenthalt im Hotel Swalibo gehabt. Damals wirklich eine ausgezeichnete Wahl bzgl. Preis/Leistung auch hinsichtlich Restauration und zugemieteter Infrastruktur am Strand für Hotelgäste. Das Hotel hat sich leider nicht verändert resp. der damalige Zustand konnte nicht aufrecht erhalten bleiben. Das grundsätzlich hübsche Hotel wirkt zwischenzeitlich abgewohnt, eine Renovierung (mehr als nur ein paar Pinselstriche) wären dringend notwendig. Das Frühstück war etwas lieblos und bot wenig Überraschungen.

hôtel très sympa avec un agréable jardin intérieur, une piscine etc. très confortable, un personnel tiptop. pas loin de la plage, mais derrière la route principale. l'hôtel montre des signes d'entretien défaillant de type avant toit, escalier en bois etc, mais le personnel d'entretien est présent et travaille.... donc au final, ce n'est pas un hôtel de luxe, mais tout le confort et le personnel est au top avec un rapport qualité prix plus que correct.

Rare d'être aussi bien reçu dans un hôtel, le personnel est aux petits soins, notamment l'excellent Patrick. Les chambres sont superbes aussi. La table est excellente. Seul petit bemol, une salle de bain moyennement nettoyée.

Hôtel convenable. Propre, mais un peu vétuste. Personnel dans l'ensemble courtois. Pourrait mieux faire concernant le petit déjeuner ( pas ou peu de fruits locaux; quels dommages de manger des raisins et de la pastèque pendant la saison des mangues !!) Il manque 1 ou 2 prises électriques pour recharger portable et autres. Une bouilloire serait la bienvenue dans les chambres. Un conseil ne pas prendre de chambre autour de la piscine si vous recherché le calme. Pour conclure : Le prix n'est selon nous pas à la hauteur des prestations.

Un joli hôtel au calme

Un hôtel à taille humaine, au calme et pourtant en centre ville. Ils est très bien situé, offre confort et bien être. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien décorées. Nous étions côté jardin en étage ce qui était parfait, pas de bruit. Le personnel est adorable et de bons conseils pour les visites alentours. L’acces Au jaccuzi 30 minutes par jour est très très très apprécié après de bonnes journées de visite.

A green oasis!

A nice and personal little hotel, with the most service minded staff. We had a lovely stay and can warmth recommend it. A extra plus to the green and flowering garden, so clean and well taken care of!

un hôtel différent des autres

Pour sortir un peu des mastodontes de l'hôtellerie, un accueil très sympathique, un personnel aux petits soins, une restauration de qualité, un cadre enchanteur, une tranquillité hors du commun et tout cela à cinq minutes à peine de la plage. Le seul petit bémol, quand on y va dans le cadre d'une mission de travail, est le très faible débit de la wifi...

Super hôtel avec un personnel très aimable

Bonjour mon fils et nous même nous avons apprécié notre séjour ... Le JACCUZZI des jeux de société et libres ...qui sont mis à la disposition des petits et grands.. Super Le seul problème il y avait beaucoup de moustiques même au spa à la piscine C’est vrai qu’il y a beaucoup d’arbres c’est joli mais il faut trouver une solution pour les moustiques

Good for the money

Rooms and general areas were a little tired and in need of a bit of TLC. But everywhere was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful although their english was quite poor, but we were expecting that, it is a French country afterall! Perking just outside the hotel reserved for guests, we didn't have a problem getting a space. We were perfectly happy given what we paid.

Hotel to stay 1-3 Nights, not more

Stayed in the hotel for three nights. Rooms are pretty old, no electronic door, only old key. There was a safe in the room, but there was no instruction and even the people at the reception didn´t know how to use it. The reception staff did not know much,questions about the surroundings were answered as they never been outside... The location is ok, it is close to the sight like Cap Noir, Maido, the beaches and whale/delfin watching boats. Right next to the hotel are some good restaurants and the best boulangerie we found in la Reunion. The beach is about 5 Minutes away. The hotel was ok for some days, but when we returned to st.gilles le bains, we found another one which was cheaper and much better, l´Archipel...
