Summer vacation, family

Sehr schönes, individuell eingerichtetes Haus mit besonderem Flair. Nicht in jedem Punkt praktisch- wir haben z.B. einen Kleiderschrank oder eine Haken vermisst, um Kleider aufzuhängen (Kommode ist vorhanden). Meer fußläufig in wenigen Metern, Haus liegt direkt an der Düne - der Strand ist allerdings nur bedingt zum Baden geeignet, wir sind immer mit dem Fahrrad eine Bucht weitergefahren. Sylvie ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich und bei Fragen zu erreichen und kümmert sich.

Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir louer cette très jolie maison très bien située car en bout de lotissement avec accès direct à la plage Très soignée cosy et lumineuse la décoration reflète ce que l’on attend d’une maison pour y passer de belles vacances et s’y sentir bien. A notre arrivée nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis avec le sourire et la gentillesse de Sylvie, la maison était très propre et bien équipée. Really nice property. Great location and 1 minute from the beach. Like a few other comments it would be good if listing clearly stated cleaning costs (100 euros) and that if you don’t bring bedding there would be a further unknown cost. We took our own bedding and towels, and when we informed the property manager she seemed upset!

Super séjour dans cette ravissante maison très bien équipée et très joliment décorée. Très bien située au bout d'une impasse et en bord de plage. Jolie vue le soir sur le coucher de soleil dans les dunes! Quartier très calme, parfait pour se reposer. Balades à vélo à proximité ainsi que les petits marchés typiques tous les matins (Saint martin, le bois plage, la Flotte, Rivedoux...) et pour les plus courageux Ars en Ré et le phare des baleines!

Maison bien située, au calme et face à la mer, propre et bien équipée & décorée. Beau coin de jardin avec vue sur les dunes (malheureusement les poubelles se trouvent dans le coin de jardin, malgré qu‘ on n‘ a pas le droit de les utiliser. Voilà notre seul point de critique: dans l‘ annonce on n‘ est pas informé à propos du fait qu‘ il faut porter toute sa poubelle dans la rue dans une poubelle publique à environ 300 m …. )

Magnifique séjour

Séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison, meublée avec goût, très bien équipée et dans laquelle nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l’aise. Nous avions plus l’impression d’être « chez des amis » que dans une location de vacances. La maison est très calme, à deux minutes à pied de la mer. La plage est un peu décevante au premier abord: beaucoup de rochers (il faut se baigner avec des chaussures de plage, en vente à l’hypermarché local), des algues et peu de sable. Ces petits défauts sont vite compensés par le peu de monde. En définitive, nous y sommes surtout allés pour nous baigner, faire voler notre cerf-volant, regarder les vagues ou admirer le coucher de soleil, et avons profité de la fraicheur de la maison ou de la terrasse. Enfin, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Sylvie qui, avec son mari, ont réagi immédiatement, efficacement et surtout avec le sourire aux petits problèmes que nous leur avons signalés (évier bouché, …).

WARNING - make sure you double

Please be aware that some versions of the website have a number of material inaccuracies. Unfortunately we only learnt these about after we arrived at the property. We visited the property in August 2019 and have since seen in the reviews that a guest had the same problem in April 2019 - nothing has been done about the inaccuracies. The website stated that all taxes and fees were included, as were "linens" and "towels". On arrival we were asked to pay for these alongside a cleaning contribution – additional payments running into hundreds of Euros! We did not receive any information about this before arrival despite claims by the owner that emails had been sent to us after we booked outlining this information. We were made to feel very uncomfortable by the housekeeper on arrival and departure when we raised the fact that we were unaware and unwilling to pay the extra charges. We ended up paying for new towels and extra for additional taxes and fees. The owner begrudgingly paid for the linen which the housekeeper then tried to extract from us again on departure. We are now in a lengthy claims process trying to recover the amounts extra that we paid. This really impacted on what should have been an enjoyable holiday on a lovely island. It is a shame as rectifying the website and pricing information would solve the issues. I hope that this review raises awareness of the issues for future guests and motivates the owners to resolve the website inaccuracies as they are still present on the website which is unacceptable given they were first raised by another guest in their review in April 2019.

Une merveille, cosy et calme, située idéalement

Un vrai bonheur que cette maison lovée contre la dune avec un petit chemin d’acces a la plage qui longe le jardin ! A 10 minutes max de vélo du centre de Ste Marie, au calme et protégée du vent, dans une impasse loin de toute route passante, c’est un havre de paix. Une décoration simple et de bon goût, toute en délicatesse et pleine de charme, nous a fait sentir comme chez nous dès notre arrivée. Sylvie nous a accueillis comme si nous étions de vieux amis, et nous a fournis de multiples conseils et suggestions pour parcourir l’ile. La maison est confortable (très bonne literie, tv et wifi, salon de jardin, barbecue, tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine puisque c’est une maison habitée à l’année). Garage parfait pour les vélos et une place pour garer la voiture devant la maison. Un seul regret : notre séjour était trop court. C’est sur nous reviendrons !

Nettes Haus am Strand

Hier zahlt man für die Lage. Für das Haus selbst wäre die Hälfte des Preises angemessen. Das Haus ist absolut sauber und komfortabel. Die elektrischen Geräte, die Einrichtung sowie Haus & Ausstattung sind aber etwas "in die Jahre" gekommen, wenn auch voll funktionstüchtig. Das Haus ist von der Besitzerin liebevoll eingerichtet. Zum Teil macht es aber den Eindruck einer "Gartenlaube" (bzw. Cabane de Pecheur). Schlösser und Fenster (etc.) sind schon ein wenig "wackelig". Es gibt WLAN und 2 Fernseher, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Trockner sowie einen Induktionsherd (mit Ofen). Das Meer kann man hören, aber nicht vom Haus aus sehen. Der Strand ist in 2-3 Minuten erreichbar. Es geht eher flach rein, mit vielen Steinen und "Stufen" - daher ist es ratsam bei Flut Badeschuhe zu tragen (sonst verletzt man sich). Bei Ebbe zieht sich das Meer fast 200 m zurück. Für kleine Kinder ein Eldorado, um in den Tümpeln zu spielen. Für größere Kinder eher nicht so geeignet - außer sie surfen (Welle oder Kite). In den nächsten Ort sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Rad - dort gibt es alles, was man braucht. Insgesamt sind die Radwege top auf der Insel. Wir (2 Erw., 2 Jugendliche) hatte eine super Zeit auf der Ile-de-Re. Das Haus bietet genügend Platz. Man kann sich sehr gut selbst versorgen, es ist alles vorhanden! Die Betten waren okay, Bettzeug muss man selber mitbringen (sonst Aufpreis). Die Übergaben waren gut organisiert und sympathisch, alles "easy". Es muss eine Kaution hinterlegt werden, die man (wenn alles in Ordnung ist) am Ende zurück bekommt. Wie bereits gesagt, der Preis ist im Sommer recht hoch und allein über die Lage zu rechtfertigen!

wunderschöne tage auf der ile de re

wir hatten mit 2 Kindern (1 Jahr und 3) und 2 Hunden erholsame Tage in einen sehr liebevoll ausgestatteten Haus mit schönem Garten.Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht, perfekte Küche. Wir haben uns sehr voll gefühlt. Unbezahlbar die einmalige Lage direkt hinter den Dünen

Das Ferienhaus hat eine Top-Lage ist sehr sauber und mit direktem Zugang zum Strand unschlagbar.

Leider stimmen die Angaben zu der Ausstattung des Hauses nicht.Im Besonderen die Angabe, daß Bettwäsche und Handtücher bereitgestellt werden. Dies trifft leider nicht zu was wir bei unserer Ankunft erfahren haben, somit mußte per Telefon ein Wäscheservice beauftragt werden um uns Bettwäsche/Handtücher zu liefern was natürlich mit Extrakosten verbunden war die man hätte umgehen können wenn man es vorher gewußt hätte. Gut wenn man in so einem Fall Französisch sprechen kann, sonst hätte es nicht funktioniert. Ebenfalls wird die Endreinigung separat berechnet . Auch Fahrräder stehen nicht zur Verfügung die müssen im nächst gelegenen Ort gemietet werden. Boot und Kanu steht auch nicht zur Verfügung..... Diese Seite sollte dringendst überarbeitet werden, damit andere Urlauber nicht ebenso ratlos wie wir im Ferienhaus stehen.Gut, daß unsere Kontaktperson vor Ort ausgesprochen hilfsbereit war. Das Haus plus Garten und Terrasse ist sehr empfehlenswert.
