「We had a wonderful time at East Soar farm. The kids enjoyed being surrounded by the animals and we did the splendid walk to Salcombe Beach and back. The apartment has just what you need in order to cook, sleep and shower and was very clean upon arrival. We felt very welcome and well taken care off.」

「Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…」

「Within 50 yards of the beach which is extremely clean, not too busy in September, boat taxi to Salcombe, good food in hotel opposite, apartment excellent, beds fab and balcony perfect for people watching. Definitely recommend.」

「This property is ideal for a large family group. We had teens at 16 years to their grandparents at 80 and the house worked well for all of us. The property is clean and well presented but still practical so you can relax in it. It was very well set up in terms of equipment and facilities. The hot tub and sauna were a surprising godsend to our break, giving us plenty of things to do around the house when the weather wasn’t fantastic. 「Shalimar was perfect, just 10 minutes from the centre of beautiful Salcombe, however, I would not recommend for anyone with disabilities due to the steep hills! The house was clean and comfortable with an abundance of facilities, we would definitely stay again and fully recommend.」

「Lovely staff, couldn’t have been more helpful. Food very good. Just thought room needed a bit of tiding/painting, bathrooms needed re grouting etc. it didn’t affect our stay, but is top money and except it to be right. We stayed in a sea view room with doors to open but no window to let any air in. So it was the door open which not sure on security of that. And there was no air-conditioning. All in all a lovely place. 」
