A wonderful holiday had by all
We had a wonderful family holiday at the house.
Communication was easy throughout the process and Nicla helped very quickly with a couple of extra items we requested in the house (glasses).
The beds were very comfortable, with good quality sheets, beach towels were also provided. Personally, I would have liked larger bath towels, but this is just a small thing.
The house and grounds are a wonderful setting for a family holiday, The view is spectacular and there are many places to sit and read or sunbathe.
One thing we also loved about the house was the art work and individual pieces of furniture - this house was well thought out, with a keen eye for art and style. It is not your typical holiday house, but lots of thought has gone into it.
The pool was a hit with the whole family, especially the children (ranging from age 11 to 16).
You do need a car to get anywhere, but there are plenty of options of places to eat and explore - the weather was so hot the weeks we stayed that we stayed close to the house and only ventured to the lake and restaurants.
Tips- get the ferry across the water to the island, eat out in Vello and swim from the shore of the lake.
Iseo and the surrounding areas are not busy at all and we loved the lack of tourists, we would definitely like to come back in the future.
