"What can I say... this was by far our best trip to County Clare yet. My family and I have been to Clare many times, and this was by far the best location, and best setup Cottage we've used. "What an amazing place to spend Christmas! There was a Christmas tree in the window, right next to the fire. We slept great, enjoyed wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen, explored the area, walked to a pub or two and just relaxed. Loved our visit. Bernie, that checked us in, was the sweetest. The views of the water, back garden, and lounging on the couch just looking at the walls around us were priceless. "Kinvara is a good location for exploring Galway and County Clare. The property is fine with plenty of space and well equipped. We even managed to use the Hot Tub which was very rewarding as the weather forecast for the week was not very very good."

"Cottage is lovely and easy to find the local village is walkable and has everything you would want with shops and great restaurants (reasonable prices too) the only small thing we would suggest they improve is the lighting in the kitchen which is really insufficient if you want to cook in the evening."

"Spiddal Cottage was delightful! Both rooms were spacious, the living room was lovely, the kitchen small but with all the necessary appliances. We didn't ever cook there, so I can't say anything about the pots, pans, spices, etc. The mattresses were quite firm. Bring your own entertainment if you want to watch something. The wifi worked great and we had access to the washing machine, which was very nice. Patsy was accommodating and super nice! The area was stunning, and a great place for a ferry...

Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away. "The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. "

"The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles."

"We spent three nights here and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was clean and checking in and out was a breeze. The location is walkable to a lot of restaurants and is just a short walk to the Latin Quarter. There is also a small Tesco just up the street. But the killer feature of this place is the amazing view out across Galway Bay. Pictures don’t do it justice, it is spectacular. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a bit small for 3 of us but manageable. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel is very centrally located and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go which we loved! The only real complaint was the breakfast that was included was not good and the service was so slow we only got a few bites in before we had to leave for a tour and we had gone down with plenty of time(around an hour ahead). We did eat in the restaurant the first afternoon and the food was very good, but again, service was very slow. Overall, I would stay there again, just wouldn’t pay extra for the breakfast. "
