"Hotel is very dirty "

"The rooms are showing their age although upgrading has apparently begun. Staff are friendly but the hot water was turned off for several hours and the dining room remained closed even after hot water was restored. No compensation was offered, not even complimentary coffee."

"Elevator was out, I am handicap and moving luggage downstairs was horrific. I have a broke neck which makes me unable to look down or sideways, therefore walking downstairs is more than dangerous for me. Elevator was out for several days. "

"This hotel is our favorite in Tuscaloosa—spacious clean rooms, excellent service, lovely common spaces, delicious full breakfast, and all centrally located in a beautiful part of town, walkable to downtown, 5 min drive from Bama, and across from Parker-Hahn Park and the best little coffee shop—Heritage House. We ALWAYS stay here!"

"Parking was easy. The AC Unit was loud and very disturbing when it kicked on, the bathtub was pretty gross. I originally booked a room with 1 King Bed, when I called on my way to confirm my room, as I was arriving late, I was told the King Bed rooms were filled. Which was fine b/c my daughter ended up wanting to stay in the room, but when I got there .. even though they already filled my reserved King Bed Room, they charged me more money for the room with 2 beds ... Bad Business"

"Everything about the hotel was nice. From check-in, to the room, to the breakfast, and check-out everything was good for us."
