Peaceful & Private Riverfront Modern 3/3 on a 1.7 Acre Nature Peaceful & Private

Blend with Nature at the River Bend House on the Guadalupe River. The water is flowing! Enjoy watching axis and whitetail deer come and go. Catch a great night sky in the peaceful country setting. The 3 bedroom / 3 bath house was built in 2023 and is situated on 1.7 acres with private river access. The house has a weaving trail that takes you to an overlook above the Guadalupe River. With hiking shoes, you can take the short but steep trail down to the river.

Each bedroom has it’s own en suite bathroom and queen bed. The large living area has a Roku tv, comfy seating, a full kitchen with an electric range, full-size refrigerator and a large dining table. On the deck there is an outdoor pellet grill (bring your own pellets) , outdoor table and a lounging area. The indoor decor blends local artists’ chalk artwork with stained cement floors and vaulted ceiling to create a very special ambiance. The dog-friendly house has a doggie door leading to a fully fenced backyard. Lovely oak trees provide shade around the house.

The River Bend House sits on 1.7 acres on a beautiful bend of the Guadalupe River with very large cypress trees. Bring your outdoor chairs and sit on the beach or shallow part of the water. Bring your fishing poles for some fishing fun. **Bring your own beach towels.

The house is ideally placed in the country between Boerne, Kendalia and Sisterdale.
18 minutes (13 mi) from downtown Boerne and all it's charms.
18 minutes (14 mi) from the quaint town of Kendalia.
17 minutes (13 mi) from Sisterdale Dance Hall and Sister Creek Vineyards.
32 minutes (26 mi) from downtown Comfort for great shopping and dining.
47 minutes (39 mi) from lots of activities in Fredericksburg.

Hiking/Swimming/Boating:
17 minutes (11 mi) from the Cave Without a Name for hiking and exploring the cave that
descends 80 feet below the surface.
15 minutes (10 mi) from the Kreutzberg Canyon Natural Area for hiking and river fun.
26 minutes (16 mi) from Boerne Lake for swimming and boating activities.
36 minutes (28 mi) from the Guadalupe River State Park for hiking and river adventures.

5 steps up to get on the deck. The house and deck are all one level.

Cell tower phone service is spotty, connect to the wifi for texting and phone calling.

Bring warm footwear since the concrete floors can be cold.

Be aware of poisonous snakes, both in the river and out of the river. Also, we have large deer and Axis deer that during certain seasons can be aggressive.
