Enjoy the spacious Loft #2 at the former Post Office in the walkable neighborhood of historic Golden Hill! Enter your professionally designed home via the cafe light illuminated courtyard with firepit and bbq grill which opens via a large expanse of glass to the sunlit great room. The spacious kitchen and adjacent living room w/sofa bed share 12' high ceilings and are ideal for gathering, food prep, dining and lounging. Note the dedicated workspace and strong wifi signal for your work or surfing tasks. Clean, bright finishes and contemporary artwork provide a sense of calm and order. Three tastefully decorated bedrooms and two shower baths complete your home away from home. Golden HIll features hip restaurants with outdoor dining, charming historic homes, a nearby park, broad tree lined streets, an assortment of coffee places and nearby activities including the famous San Diego Zoo, beautiful Balboa Park, the spectacular Coronado beach and the Downtown business center. Transportation from the airport via uber/lyft or a rental car is convenient. Street parking is available and tandem dedicated covered parking spots are assigned to your loft.

We stayed at this property for three nights. We were pleased to find that it was in a safe neighborhood and that the host was very responsive. Everything in the home was in great working order. I was impressed by the quality of the furnishings, appliances, cookware, right down to the hairdryer (T3! probably a $150 dryer). Our favorite part of the rental was using the fire pit in the courtyard. It was nice to be able to gather and enjoy the company of our group without being disturbed. I would definitely stay at this property again if I were to return to San Diego.

East, convenient, spacious place to stay

Great place to stay in SD. Best thing — covered RESERVED parking spot. Huge plus. Especially since street parking is usually full, and we got upgraded with our rental vehicle (yes, thankful for the full size SUV, but parallel parking?? Lol ) The kitchen has everything you need — all the dishes, dishwasher, full refrig, and washer and dryer. Family room + TV— kids were able to pull up Netflix, HBO plus, etc everything we have at home. Beds are very comfortable. Much of SD is in the flight pattern, so we greatly appreciated the white noise machines! All in all, a very easy place to stay. We will rebook when we come back.
