My boyfriend and I LOVED our stay. The rooms are on the small side, but they are adorable and just like the photos. We both slept really well. The shower had amazingly good water pressure for a hotel of this age. We were impressed! There is a great pastry and coffee shop right downstairs called Stella's. It couldn't be more convenient. Cafe Trieste, just around the corner was a great find. There is a restaurant right next-door called the stinking Rose. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, with friendly staff. We both loved this location as there are other coffee shops and restaurants very close by, all within short walking distance. The hotel staff were great, very informative, welcoming and easy to chat with about the history of famous folks who have stayed in the hotel - if you're interested. The only thing I would mention to future guests is that the rooms (facing Columbus ) got REALLY warm in the afternoon, so draw the blinds before you leave for the day. Fans are provided and they do help but drawing the curtains makes a big difference. 😊 We are already planning to return within the next few months!!
