Enjoyed our stay here. Having lived in San Francisco for 20 years this is a wonderful location near terrific restaurants, shops, etc…
The house was very comfortable and my communication with the owner was exceptional!
Thank You!
Lovely stay, great space! Could use a space heater but I was warned by the property manager to bring warm clothes/slippers so that’s my fault. Perfect location, close to downtown but not too close. Near great restaurants so all around great time!
My wife and I stayed for a week at Rachel’shouse in San Francisco. The property was perfect for us and Rachel is a wonderful host.First, the house is in a great location; just up the hill from several really nice neighborhoods with great restaurants and stores. Yet, the house is on a very quiet, residential street. We appreciated the well stocked chef’s kitchen ( we enjoy cooking) and the beautiful view of San Francisco from the upstairs loft. Plus, the bed is very comfy!Rachel made sure we had everything we needed and her house was a perfect pied a terre for visiting San Francisco.
Actually the kitchen is better set up than ours at home! Great location. Quiet spot. Street parking. A view. And a patio sanctuary. Lightning fast responses from Rachel. We will be back.
We stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our little sanctuary in SF!
The check in process was easy and communication from the host was super. Her response time and willingness to answer ANY questions truly made us feel as if we weren’t bothering her; she genuinely seemed pleased to be available and make us as comfortable as we could. Her welcome binder was thorough and had a lot of ideas on food, restaurants and things to do in SF.
The house is spacious and open plan with plenty of natural light. Having the tv room upstairs was a treat with city views and watching the SF July fog roll in.
It is very quiet, so sleeping undisturbed was easy. I found the bed very comfortable. Great location for getting to the east bay, south bay or Marin and further afield (Sonoma, Napa, Muir Woods, etc).
Two major highlights of the property is the kitchen and the shower. The shower room is filled with natural light and to see the living succulent and greenery wall while showering is a great way to start your day or end it.
The kitchen is a home chefs dream. All open plan with no cupboard doors to open to find things, it really felt as if they kitchen was made for those who truly enjoy cooking. All the crockery is eclectic and adds to the joy of creating. The gas range is great; and we used the kitchen at least once a day every day. Making dinner with the great sound system on, with a glass in wine in hand was a great end to a busy day.
We will be back-thx
This is a property you need to see in person to truly appreciate. If the online pictures draw you in, you will be blown away when you arrive. Best of all, you have the place all to yourself which is not the norm in this area.
Comfy open gathering area when you walk in with access to Sonos sound system so you can listen to all kinds of music. Super comfortable bed in blissfully quiet neighborhood so you are guaranteed to get a quality night's sleep.
The view of the city from upstairs loft area is absolutely beautiful. To truly level up the experience though, you have to hop in the hot tub on the back porch area. You will feel like you have been transported to another place! It was so relaxing to just sit with a cocktail in hand and enjoy the view.
You will find EVERYTHING you need within a mile from the house (food, drinks, transportation, grocery store, etc.). Just be prepared for a heck of a hike back up when you are ready to return. SF is known for the hills, and the sacrifice you make for the amazing views comes into play here, so make sure you have good walking shoes and your cardio game is strong!
The host Rachel is super friendly and was very, very responsive to any inquiries we had throughout our stay.
This was everything we were looking for and more. We felt so comfortable it was like home away from home and we will be back.
This place is truly a gem! Perfect for a couple who wants to stay in SF, beautiful views, outdoor terrace, large kitchen, upstairs sitting area, all great! The location is also great, on a quiet street but within walking distance to shops, coffee, restaurants, etc. The host, Rachel, is extremely accommodating and responsive and is ready to address any question or issue you have. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Absolutely Gorgeous Home
This house is stunning. The listing was very accurate in photos, description, etc. The property was perfectly clean and ready upon arrival, which was before the offical check-in time. The cost is more than we typically spend on lodging for trips but it was well worth it to be able to come back to this gorgeous home. Thankfully the kitty (Zu) warmed up to us after about a day and he was super easy to take care of. Rachel was very prompt and kind in correspondance. Definitely spend the money on the hot tub fee - it was amazing. The outdoor shower... I just can't say enough good things. We loved it. We were in town for Outside Lands but decided to leave the festival early the last night to enjoy more time at the house! We went to a nice Italian dinner at Bacco in Noe Valley and had delicious brunches in Lower Haight and the Castro every morning. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that we were visiting a friend who lives in the city and due to the house rules, he was unable to visit with us at the home during the stay, though I do understand why the rules are the way they are. Regardless, I would 100% stay in this house again if I ever have the opportunity. Thank you Rachel!
