"We had a wonderful weekend at the Beach Villa home. The location was superb, and the place was clean and inviting. Depending on your vacation preferences, it's worth noting that the two bedrooms are quite small, with limited space around the bed. However, the mattresses were comfortable, and the corner windows helped alleviate any feelings of tightness, especially in the room with the northwest-facing view of the ocean. (lovely!) "we wanted to be able to spend some time near the ocean. This is a small place but an easy walk to Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay. A nice, quiet backyard. We enjoyed eating dinner there. A good place for a couple or perhaps a small family. A tiny but excellent shower. I would be happy to rent this place again."

"On our way driving to Phoenix we decided to spend 3 nights in Half Moon Bay, had never been to this area. It was great! The accommodation was good, bathroom small and sink tiny but the kitchen sink was large so my husband and I used that! Only thing lacking was no wardrobe or closet for hanging clothes, only 1 hook in the bedroom, but we managed and did like the space and cottage feel! Overall a fine stay tucked in the trees/nature.
"Nice overall location along a scenic creek. Not sure why there is a (nominal) resort fee. I did see a pool and heard there was a gym but it’s not really a resort. I had expected more re: breakfast. It’s light pastries and breakfast bars and juice that you can eat in the small lobby or at outdoor tables. I was solo for most of the stay - in town for a conference - and my family joined at the end. It was fine for both purposes. If you want to feel more removed from civilization, try to get first or second floor. The third floor has a slight view of the road and cars. I heard some traffic but nothing too disruptive. Would stay again though not sure it’s worth the price on more expensive rate days. "
