I just needed a somewhere to stay at night and this place did the job. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were enough for me. The area isn't bad and its close to a lot of stores, like Safeway, Smart&Final, and Dollar store. There's also a bus on the main road that will take you straight downtown. I did spot one or two roaches, and the coffee maker was really dirty. There also wasn't always parking but this wasn't a problem for me.

The instructions at the property say you can drink the tap water, no glasses were provided. Coffee maker, no coffee , or coffee cups. No wash cloths, the towels looked ready for the rag bin and the mattress is a poor quality. The house was just around the corner from a adult toy store

Small room but comfortable. Was missing coffee cups and choices of coffee, but space for baggage and cloths was fine. Walls are thin so neighbors could be heard later in the evening. Still a nice price for what was offered.

Easy check in, safe feeling cute older neighborhood. Clean with good sized bathroom but very small room. Difficult for 2 people to share as there is no space. We felt claustrophobic as no window except in the door in the room which does not open. Poor ventilation. Could not figure out how to turn on ceiling fan or adjust temp, though there was a remote to do this. Luckily it was not a warm evening. The photos make it look bigger then it is. Not very sound proofed..could clearly hear conversation/noise in guest space next door as well as main home, even though not loud. Would be okay for one person if don’t mind the above. Price is reflective.

Very quiet neighborhood and very welcoming pre-stay process! Although I did not see the owners directly, every step was laid out clearly. An added bonus: friendly kids said goodbye and thank you as I left the property at checkout!

This was the perfect place for me to stay. Great neighborhood. Welcoming hosts. Just the right accommodations for a ma visiting her son in San Jose. Site was son approved (and he is very protective of his ma). Beautiful courtyard and plenty of Cali sunshine. Will definitely stay here again when I travel from Virginia to California. Thank you for assisting us with this great visit. PS: love the such!rents and the fruit trees.

The hosts are great communicators. Everything was clean, well decorated, the property was easy to access and very quiet. A wonderful choice for a stay in the San Jose area.
