The view has likely drawn you to Costa Linda, but one thing you have to be here to experience is the peaceful and soothing sound of the ocean waves. You’ll be comfortable with air conditioning in both bedrooms and ocean breeze in the main area. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening happy hour on the spacious balcony… or even lounge all day in the hammock.
This is an 8 unit building right on the ocean in the small Playa Fortuna Community. It was originally built as a vacation property by two families, and some units are still owned by the children of the original owners. The units are each their own private oasis. Inside #203 you’ll find two bedrooms (both with mini split A/C units) and two bathrooms (one included en-suite in the primary bedroom). The stacked washer/dryer is in the hall - feel free to use detergent and dryer sheets if available. *Please don’t overfill the washer with bulky items and also make sure the dryer vent is half full of water.
This lovely community of Playa Fortuna is a very safe, peaceful and quiet location. But if you’re looking for more excitement, the famous Luquillo kiosks are just a 10 minute walk down the street (or along the beach depending on the tide:) Along the ocean and throughout the neighborhood there is a juxtaposition of extremely luxurious properties next to far more modest ones. In addition, you’ll also notice a few places still affected and recovering from Hurricane Maria. If you take the street on foot, you’ll likely encounter a few neighborhood cats, dogs, chickens, and even some horses. There’s a basketball court just a few properties to the west (this is also a great way to enter the beach if the tide is too high at Costa Linda). There’s another big basketball court next to the Kiosks. This beach has jet ski rentals and other activities that you can check out!
