"Pretty decent for a Motel 6. I got a room on the first floor which was designed to accommodate a guest with accessibility needs. So it was fairly spacious and the floor was like a hardwood laminate type of material. The room was pretty clean. The bed was good and positioned on the lower side height wise. Mini fridge and microwave were included. Guest laundry is available which I definitely appreciated and used. Not much nearby except for other hotels, but there are a decent amount of places to eat and shop a short drive away. Pretty easy to get to and from the highway. Only issue I had was with the door lock. For some reason my key stopped working at one point and the staff person had to reprogram my key. The lock mechanism seemed to get stuck on something so closing the door took a little fiddling and force. Told the staff about it when I checked out so hopefully they fixed whatever was wrong."

Some aspects seem old and could use some sprucing up (faded paint, carpets in our room smelled musty) but overall definitely worth a stop if you prefer a unique experience instead of a chain hotel. We've never seen anything quite like it."
