This is a unique and very relaxing place to spend a few days. Not too far from San Marcos, nestled in the Hill Country, and packed with charm, this was the perfect rvacation spot for my wife and me. The decor inside and out made this a memorable location. The hosts have thought of pretty much everything. Kiko, the very friendly dog that roams the property was a real plus for my wife and me. We’ll be back. Highly recommended!

Anniversary Trip

Overall, this rental is exceptional if you are looking for a relaxing retreat away from all the extra everyday life throws at you. Communication was the best and any need was addressed promptly and with respect for my time and needs. My husband is in a wheelchair and even though this is a remote location, this home suited our needs for someone with disabilities better than any other home we have c stayed at in the past. Grateful for such an amazing host and home to stay in to recharge for our stressful lifes!!

Mother daughter reunion

The cottage was PERFECT! we enjoyed the porch swing, walks around the property with goats and chickens. The mermaid tub on the back porch is OUR favorite! The ranch hands there made sure our stay was perfect! Very friendly and accommodating. I cant say not one negative thing about our stay! The bed was comfortable, i had everything provided to allow me to cook, and evening fires were so much fun! If you dont stay here, you are missing out! We will be back!
