This property is NOT within walkable distance to the river. It had to be at least 2 miles. House was nice. Gorgeous outside. Not a lot of seating inside. Bed is small. It was really weird to be staying in someones personal house.

Beautiful home! Everything was just as advertised. Its a lovely spacious home, all appliances/etc worked great, comfy bed, etc. Really liked the location being a little tucked away, but still having very easy and walkable access to most everything in San Marcos. Hope to be back!

Spring break 2025

We stayed for one day so my son could enjoy the river for his spring break. This place was perfect for that and everything is very close by if you decide to Uber or walk. This place was very quite and relaxing.

River getaway

This experience was smooth, and our stay was perfect! The house is clean with good energy, and style. The backyard is great for dogs, and a wrap around patio makes getting around outside easy. We will use this rental for any future stays! 5 stars

Great house and perfect location

Beautiful house very close to the parks along the San Marcos River and the Town Square for shopping, restaurants and bars. Charming deck and covered patio which showcases Cameron's gorgeous plants. We only ended up using the microwave and refrigerator/freezer but the kitchen is fabulous and has all you need to make your own meals. Would highly recommend this house if you're looking to visit San Marcos.

Cute house. Nicely updated and clean. Nice outdoor deck and yard fenced in. Was nice for our dog and visiting our kids near by. We will definitely be back and the host was easy to communicate with.

Great experience!

Pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the outdoor space (packed folding chairs). The home was as advertised and very clean. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and we were able to walk dogs safely. Owner was very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions that we had before and during our stay. We would definitely stay again!
