Nice hotel but it has no lift so you have to carry your luggage up loads of steep stairs !! The rooms are a bit small and the shower is not great. Breakfast is fairly good but can be very chaotic. If you are not lucky enough to get one of the 4 parking spaces out the front then you have to pay at the local car park 200 yards away. The hotel is in a nice location next to the river.

Charming hotel and great location. Bar and restaurant onsite were very nice and handy. Breakfast was amazing! Hospitality of the staff, also amazing. Don't let limited parking scare you, they have a nice arrangement for inexpensive overnight parking just across the street. Older facility, so don't expect air conditioning, and of course we stayed there during a historical heat wave in the UK for May. On normal nights, I think temps would be fine. Would recommend and stay at again.
