Great stay

I had a great stay at this Alta / Snowbird place. The unit is a bit tricky to find because Google Maps / Apple Maps / Waze doesn't work for finding the right unit. Turn-by-turn directions would be nice. Otherwise it was a great location for accessing Alta and Snowbird and a great place to stay.

Early Summer in Alta

We stayed the fourth week of June and had some chilly mornings (27F, 33F), beautiful days, small patches of snow on trails, and lots of wild flowers. Shop on the way in since there is nothing up in the mountains during summer. The house was fine. It was hard to find based on the address and there were three numbered garages underneath, which made it more confusing. We also did not have the garage code (the only place you can park - one car only parking) and the garage door was locked. The property management is a call center (foreign) and seems to reply with AI generated messages. There is no house manual but we only had problems with the hot tub not being serviced properly (too much bromine) - good luck getting the heavy cover off on the small deck. There are other neglected maintenance items but the house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and appliances. Overall we had a great stay.

Mountain Cabin

Hard place to find in the dark. More detailed driving directions with roadside markers would be very helpful. Proximate to Alta and Snowbird. A 4wheel drive SUV makes the location much more convenient Quirky electrial system that should be explained. The GIF plug in the bathroom controls the can lights in the livingroom. That took us a little while to discover without any help from the manager whom we contacted. Very pleasant stay.

Great location - hot in the summer

We had fun during our stay but there were some big hiccups. It seemed like no one had been there in a while - many of the outlets / tv didn't work and it took a while for them to get a grounds team person there. There is NO AC in the unit - i'm not sure if that was mentioned, but it was very hot and uncomfortable and hard to sleep. Our hot water also went out our last night and considering how long it took to get someone there for the electrical we didn't even bother. But we love Alta and the surroundings, had lovely hikes. The hot tub was nice at the end of the day but was in need of repair as well. Considering the pages and pages of paperwork we had to sign (more than any other place i've stayed in) i was shocked by the, seeming, the lack of care in the unit,

Great location, great place!

Everything was as advertised - and huge hot tub! We visited friends who were staying at another more expensive place down the road and their unit wasn't nearly as good as this one.
