"Our family had an excellent experience! When we first arrived and entered the sushi restaurant, we were not sure, but the traditional japanese rooms were nice and the bathroom and toilets were very nice and clean. But the highlight is the incredible sushi dinner. The chef gives you an experience, not just a dinner. This was by far the best sushi we had in Japan and amoung the best we ever had. Worth eating there if in Miyajima (which is worth the trip as it's beautiful).
We highly recommend for an authentic Japanese stay, but a must for the sushi!"
"Staff are very kind and our Japanese style room was well appointed. We did not try the breakfast.
My only suggestion for travellers is if you get the sea facing room, it's directly window facing the main street everyone takes to get to the gate. Therefore starting from 8am, it can be loud."
"This hotel was our favourite of the entire trip. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, they also offered free postcards to mail home including postage, there's an area to take a polaroid with the other guests who have stayed, and they have late night snacks. While definitely more on the pricy side, it's worth it to be on the island and beat the tourist congestion by staying on the island overnight. Totally worth the price!"
"Close to ferry terminal, Otarii Gate and Ropeway. Family style dinner was great because all Island Restaurants close early. In room hot spring with views!"
