My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay at Katherine’s West Mesa home. The home was very well designed and well appointed. All of the interior space was maximized; and, double doors across the front and back of the house allowed us to enjoy true indoor-outdoor living. The ceilings were tall and furnishings were fashionable and comfortable. Katherine has truly maximized the design of her home. The house was outfitted with all of the appliances, dishes, cooking utensils, soap, paper towels, and essentials that a traveler could need. The privacy fences allowed us to enjoy both the front and back yard - the fountains, the fire pit, the dining areas and lounging areas. In addition to the excellent lay out, decor and comfort of the house, the location was wonderful. It was mere steps from the access to Mesa Lane Beach. Heading toward downtown from the house, a pedestrian walkway connected with Shoreline Drive and the pedestrian walkway through Shoreline Park and past Stearn’s Wharf. Walking north there were numerous walking paths through the Douglas Family Preserve, the Arroyo Open Space and Park and through and around Elings Park. It was a perfect location for walking or jogging exercise opportunities. We were well satisfied with our stay in Katherine’s home and look forward to returning to enjoy the home, location and beautiful surroundings.
