We walked in and said "Wow!" We knew we had found a true gem in Santa Barbara. A beautifully restored vintage home with wood paneling, curly-cues and beautiful grounds. We sat down in the back and just sighed. Ahhh!

The place is a beutiful old wooden house converted in a small hotel. It's completely automated, so there was no staff working in the lobby of the hotel, which was very creepy. The house was remodeled, but still the air was stuffy and smelled very old. I wanted to spend a few nights in beautiful Santa Barbara, and not to stay in a museum. In addition, there were no A/C controls in the room so I had to ask staff over text messages for help multiple times. It's a beautiful house to see, but not remodeled sufficiently to be a hotel I want to stay in.

Beautiful, private setting, great location!

It was a great stay and I would return there but the air conditioner didn’t seem to keep it cool enough for my husband and he had to open the door in the middle of the night to cool down the room more effectively. Other than that, communication was great and everything else was lovely.

Quaint and cozy

Quiet, peaceful, and easy. So relaxing. Definitely an old house with all the charm that comes with age. We are self sufficient travelers that do not mind the contactless "ghost" inn vibes. It was actually refreshing to travel independently, felt much more simple. Humberto is also super friendly and easy to get ahold of if you do need anything. If we do come back out west, we will absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite with my husband and son, and it was absolutely perfect. The suite featured a comfortable king-sized bed, a couch that converted into a bed, a relaxing jacuzzi tub, and stunning views from the balcony. We appreciated the chilled water waiting for us in the fridge and the plush robes that added a luxurious touch. A special thank you to Humberto, who ensured we were able to check in early and had everything we needed. His thoughtful recommendations for food and activities, along with the personal touches and excellent communication, made our stay extra special. We truly felt cared for and can’t wait to return!

The owner was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home! The room had a lovely chimney, and they provided dura flame logs that created a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it was such a nice and peaceful place to stay!
