It took both me and my daughter trying the key before we could get the door opened. We could hear the people in the room beside us talking as if they were in the room with us!"

The only issue we had was even though i made my reservation on Hotels.com for some reason they did not have record of us. After they made a phone call somewhere it was clarified and we had a wonderful stay. Also the restaurant served dinner and we were quite pleased. I highly recommend the Convento"

"We absolutely loved the Temple Hotel, it had a Knights Templar theme, from being ‘greeted’ by a suit of armour in reception, to iron braziers for the lights, medieval style furniture and pictures, even the key to the bedroom was an iron ‘Tau’ - all in homage to the spectacular Knights Templar Castle in Ponferrada. In addition the rooms were comfortable, the welcome was warm, and breakfast was a veritable feast worthy of any knights!"
