“Such a beautiful bnb!!!! Most incredible views from the Armadillo room! Delicious included breakfast, made fresh from the sweetest chefs! Also a beautiful view from the restaurant. The staff was the best!! So, so nice and responsive with any questions. They also give you an info guide and were so helpful with booking transport, any activities, doing laundry, etc! “This night was plesant surprise for our fmaily of three. It was not only a place to stay it provided an experience we will never forget. First of all if you dont appreciate History or architecture go somewhere else this one is not for you. Others that do step in to Mayan inn to take a beautiful walk in the past. “We had the most amazing stay at this property! The hotel was insanely beautiful and very well kept. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and accommodated every request we had. Truly have never been so impressed by a hotel. 1000% recommend staying here if you are traveling to Lake Atitlan/San Marcos. They can even help arrange private transfers for you to eliminate stress. “This was a most spectacular and breathtaking place to stay. We got the top view. A bit of a hike up but so worth it. We got to lay in bed and look out to the stars, daybreak and volcanos. From the balcony we could see the lake. I loved the open private bathroom and our own sitting area. Definitely glamping. The next surprise was the restaurant there. Like having your own private chef. My husband always finds the most amazing places to stay. So friendly and loved the dogs. ”

“The pools and gardens are lovely as you come into the courtyard off a street lined with lights and colorful hanging basket streamers leading down to the water. I loved the sounds of the school next door. The room was great, staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was the best on this whole trip. It was easy to get a taxi to Panajachel for the public water shuttles around to the other villages. ”

“Great location, beautiful hotel grounds, nice pool with water slide, and great views of Lake Atlitan from the hotel property. Parking is free and plenty of space (there are two parking lots). Only downside is there is no fan, fridge or AC, so it can be humid and hot. ”

“This property charges premium prices but delivers very little beyond the view. The location overlooking Lake Atitlán is beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The internet was essentially unusable during my stay. For a hotel at this price level, reliable internet should be basic. I had work to do and could not connect. Mobile data also barely works in this location, so the hotel’s Wi-Fi is the only option. What made the situation worse was the response from staff. No one……
