"I wish I could leave a better review. First if you get this property I recommend you check with host right away if the property is actually available. I found out three days before they weren’t expecting even though I already paid for it. Bathrooms didn’t have a toilet seat and it was never addressed. Host really tried to help but his is not his main job nor he is the owner. Garage doors were in bad shape, broken windows and the cabinets everywhere were falling apart. I had to buy my own pots...

"Unique hotel full of antiques, great coffee shop and Sunday buffet breakfast delicious with many choices. Pool area very nice with many comfortable shaded and non shaded beds. Location to town square is one minute! "

"I was welcomed by three employees of the hotel with such warmth, I immediately felt at home. Laura, in particular, was so attentive to me during my entire stay. I was sad to leave. A wonderful experience. The only caveat is that it's a little far from the main town, but the hotel can arrange for a Tuk Tuk for you (very cheap and fun). "

"Everything at Arde la Selva was amazing, the staff is super friendly, food and drinks are great, the premises are really comfortable, pools are great, but ... the music is unnecessarily loud. I understand the afternoons and evenings are more vibrant, but having loud music from 8 am to 12 m prevents from enjoying a relaxing time. I liked everything but definitely would not define our stay as "quiet"."
