Spacious villa, plenty of room for 4 friends having a room each. Comfortable and clean. Great kitchen facilities. Pool was lovely, part shaded and part in sun. Sun on the terraces most of the day with sunset opposite the villa. Views are spectacular. Despite other villas close by, it still felt private. The walk into Los Gigantes is only about 10 mins but is a steep hill. The peaceful and relaxing break we all needed.

Lovely view

Nice villa with amazing views and all the amenities required. Only real complaint is the oven was a bit tired and took ages to cook anything and the water pressure in the showers wasn't great.

Fantastic villa in Los Gigantes

Wonderful villa for family getaway with children. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed lots of meals on the terrace. Well stocked kitchen. Short but steep walk into the town.

Million dollar views!!!!

Views are amazing of the ocean and the mountains, we saw many wild goats and fantastic see views. Plenty of room, and the perfect pool and outdoor area. Great location we were able to walk to restsurants and beach, marina. Very responsive hosts.

We love this villa.

Another fabulous stay. As usual all coms were excellent and we were given a warm welcome when we arrived. We are a fit and healthy couple so the hills are not a problem and we walked everywhere. Everything is as described and the view is second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and were sorry to leave.

Amazing Family Vacation

We were in Spain for a wedding and looking for a place where our scattered family could enjoy time together afterwards. The villa accommodated our multi-family group well, and we enjoyed family meals with the spectacular views and sunsets on the amazing patio together. We were able to easily make it more "littles-safe" with a couple of baby gates for the stairs. Prior to our arrival, our inquiries were answered promptly. Upon arrival we were met by the property manager and all was thoroughly explained (as did the information book). Thank you for the wonderful memories!

First holiday abroad, not the last

The villa was lovely, the views were amazing. Our one thing we would change is not having an air conditioning unit in the lounge. We would stay there again, it is a beautiful town with friendly people.

Tenerife holiday

Overall a lovely place to stay for the sun and the peace and tranquility and especially the view from the outside areas. Inside is a little disappointing and not really as described…luxury beds and bedding!…on suite bathroom in double room tired…draws that don’t shut and a few other small things that make the difference between a good holiday and a really fabulous one.

Great family celebration

Fabulous views and location. Very spacious villa with good range of features. Short walk to village and 5 mins drive from supermarket. Excellent range of activities for different ages. Dolphin boat trip was brilliant. Stunning seafood restaurant Agua e Sal only ten mins drive away. After an initial hiccup the property managers were excellent and responded instantly and very helpfully.

Stunning View

The villa is spacious with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting and dining area. Stunning view from the terrace, the best in the neighborhood. We enjoyed breakfast, BBQ on the terrace. Very responsive communication with the owner. Minor updates in bathroom would make this villa perfect.

A fantastic villa.

The villa was spotless and had all the right amenities. The location is fantastic - the terrace looks out over a famous beauty spot (Los Gigantes) and yet it’s quiet and secluded. You can also easily walk into town for the beach, harbour, bars and restaurants. Thanks to Janie and Gary for looking after us too. Highly recommended - will miss the nightly ritual of watching the sun set over the sea…………

Fantastic view

Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation at Villa Maximus. The Villa was perfect for 8 people. The outside area are big, cosy and with a breathtaking view I could just sit there and watch the ocean and the big cliffs “Los Gigantes” all day long. Also the corresponding was smooth and easy - thank you Nick, Amanda, Kristian, Chloe, Jude and Janie. We had a fantastic vacation. We would love to come back.

It was so nice to return to villa maximus after 6 years and the villa didn’t disappoint. It was so well equipped and had everything you needed. Home from home. The views were as before spectacular…!Being 6 years older, the Villa is now starting to show its age, (bit like me) in parts and could probably do with a bit of a refresh here and there but this is a minor observation.The only other real noticeable change since our last visit and niggle were signs everywhere telling you not to do this or that. Perhaps the owners have had some problematic rentals in the past which has lead to this decision? Apart from these observations, we loved it as before, it remains a 5 star review from us and we will return again and would recommend.

Great location, perfect for families

Good but a little tired. Some things need updating. Dishwasher didn't clean properly, and some kitchen equipment needs updating. With a bit of minor updating, could be amazing - but a great stay in a fabulous location. The sunsets were out of this world!

Beautiful villa with stunning views

This villa is absolutely stunning, both inside and outside. We have just had a wonderful week staying here. The location is very peaceful with amazing views and sunsets. Villa well equipped and clean. Nice outdoor space with a lovely dining area to enjoy the sunsets. One negative in the master bedroom en-suite is the sink plugs do not seal so you can’t fill the sinks up with water. The location of the villa is perfect for views. The villa is at the top of a hill so it takes about 15mins to walk down to town but bear in mind it’s all uphill on the way back. Highly recommend this villa.

A lovely retreat

We stayed for 10 days in October and couldn't have been more pleased with the villa it was just what we wanted. We specifically chose the villa for the views as i have mobility issues and not able to get out every day and we wasn't disappointed. The town and shops are a short but steep walk away for my sons but id hired a car so used to drive down and park on the harbour with very reasonable rates.It was lovely to have the pool to cool down after soaking up the sun and taking in the stunning views and watching the goats on the cliffs. There are also some stunning walks over the tops of the cliffs which my sons did and some great natural pools to swim and snorkel in , in the many little coves scaterd close by. Los Gigantes is a very quiet town but with everything you need for a great holiday. Hopefully we will be back next year..Dave & Family wasn't disappointed

Stunning views

We just returned from 10 nights at the villa. We had a lovely and relaxing holiday. The kids loved the swimming pool, we all appreciated the stunning views and I certainly improved my stamina as I was running every morning in the area. The hill is indeed very steep but as others have mentioned, this makes it very easy to get into the centre of Los Gigantes and a taxi to the villa only sets you back about 5 EUR. The villa is well equipped and there is fast fiber internet and tons of TV channels. For the most part, the area is quiet, although some construction was taking place in the neighbourhood but it was only noticeably noisy one day during our stay. There are many bars and restaurants in the area and transportation is relatively cheap. We did not rent a car and I did not regret it as parking can be an issue. The host is very responsive and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend this villa!

This villa is perfect for us. It is always spotless and has everything that we need. It had an extra coffee maker this year which was well used. Amenities are close by with lots of supermarkets and restaurants to choose from. Due to the fabulous view we spent a lot of time in the villa and thoroughly recommend it. The pool is very cold if you do not choose to have it heated but perfect for a dip after the steep walk up from the town. Initial coms are very good and we always receive a warm welcome. We hope to return.

Los Gigantos at it's best

Lovely, quiet location with a wonderful view. This is our second visit and just as good as first. Simple, comfortable accommodation with a good back up team of Eileen and Ian, who manage the villa and who nothing is ever too much trouble for. Would certainly recommend it.
