“We really enjoyed our stay although it was only one night we would love to go back for longer. The dinner was absolutely amazing and very reasonable. We had a puncture overnight and the maintenance guy helped us change the wheel and pointed us to a very helpful garage ”

“We loved this beautiful guesthouse and our gracious, welcoming hosts. Nelly’s jams and Franck’s yogurt were a delight at breakfast. If you are staying in Sarlat, try to stay here. It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet. ”

“We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! ”

“This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room.”

Das Frühstück verwöhnte uns mit köstlichen Käsesorten, frischem Joghurt und Obstsalat, Baguette, leckerem Nusskuchen, Maisbrot, Tee, Kaffee oder auch Cappuccino, dazu mit weitem Blick in die Landschaft der Dordogne. “Très agréable séjour chez des hôtes très conviviaux.l espace cuisine partagée très appréciable. L'emplacement au top , proche de Sarlat loin de la foule ! Le jardin/ parc pour se ressourcer, très plaisant. Et puis, on s'est fait un nouvel ami. Le coq! Je recommande sans hésitation.”

“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats.……

“Lovely property with covered outdoor patio and pool. Daily homemade pastries were the breakfast feast. So quaint delivered in a basket. Very helpful owners and speak English well. Fabulous. ”

“Sarlat is a great place from which to explore the Dordogne and you won't find a better place to stay than O Claire de Lune. Breakfasts included home baked bread and pastries and one day Crepe! We will recommend to all our friends for both this place and the region.”

The accommodations were great, bed was very comfortable, the flowers and grounds were absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend this place even though it is a short drive to the town and surrounding castles and gardens. Marquaysaac Gardens was very impressive. We would definitely stay here again.”
