“Petit déjeuner bon et complet, clim agréable en cette saison”

“No outlets in room to charge your phone. No coffee machine in room. But the decor was lovely and classy. The breakfast was underwhelming no cheese eggs or meat. However the croissants were huge and amazing. The woman who checked me in was kind and accommodating. But the male staff at breakfast was standoffish and not warm or welcoming. The grounds could use some more landscaping befitting of a chateau.”

“This is an absolutely wonderful property located outside the busy town center of Bourges but within walking distance. It is a beautiful home run by the family with 4 nicely appointed and cozy rooms upstairs. Parking on site and breakfast and a nice coffee and pastry salon round this wonderful place out.”

“Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 6-8 July 2026. all ok 1st night hotel is very central and staff were friendly. 2nd night the air conditioning unit developed a leak. I could hear a dripping in the room and by the time I located the drip I discovered it was directly above my suitcase and a pair of shoes were completely soaked. I switched off the air con and the dripping continued at such a rate we could not sleep, also the room was now stiflingly hot. I went down to reception and asked could be……

“We would not stay here again. The biggest issue was that the elevator was out of order and we had to walk up 3 floors with our luggage. Our room had no AC while we lived through a heat dome. The room had inadequate space for storage.”

“Quirky, old, welcoming place. Close to cathedral and environs. Lovely staff, helpful and intuitive. Bed - huge and comfortable. Quiet. Breakfast very good and pleasant rapport with other travellers at one beautiful table. Just go for it!”

“Arrivée tardive, pas d’hôtesse, mais une machine qui me demande de payer 26€ supplémentaires pour accéder à la chambre alors que tout avait été payé. Chambre normale mais franchement style Motel. Salle de bain pas pratique avec aucun endroit pour poser ses affaires. WC mal fixé, sanitaire dégradé. Déjeuner correct. Au matin l’hôtesse me dit que la machine de check-in ne fonctionne pas correctement et qu’ils vont me rembourser les 26€ mais pas sur le champ car elle ne sait/peut pas le faire. Sans……

“Parking is easy, staff was friendly, just breakfast was out of our expectation”

“La salle de bain et les toilettes étaient propres mais les bordures épaisses du lit et la table de chevet n’avaient pas été nettoyés (miettes + poils). L’odeur n’était pas très agréable non plus. Le lit était confortable mais l’oreiller pas du tout. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant. ”
