“The Stay was nice. The only trouble was after checking in we discovered our pooch wasn't allowed in the main lodge where our room was booked. Guest registration was able to switch the booking around to another building to accommodate my pooch. It was a very positive experience. The front desk person was understanding of the mix up. “A very clean and large room. Our first time visiting Ironwood. We injoyed driving around looking at all the water falls and walking along beach. We also drove up to the Porcupine Mountains.”

“Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us.
