Overlooking the River Derwent, this cottage has views to Ayton Castle and is close to several other pretty villages.. Ground Floor:

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Zip And Link Double Bed (2 x Singles On Request) Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. Initial fuel for open fire provided. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area, summerhouse, BBQ and garden furniture. On-road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 11 steps down to the garden. There is an unfenced river in the garden.. This attractive 19th-century holiday cottage, adjoining another property, is set in the quiet village of East Ayton just below the North Yorks Moors. Comfortable, well-equipped and furnished to a high standard, it retains several original features. Its extensive secluded garden (with heated summerhouse) fronts onto the River Derwent and affords excellent views of Ayton Castle (a 14th-century ruin) and the Forge Valley. Scarborough and the east coast are 2½ miles away, attractive local villages such as Pickering, Thornton-le-Dale and Helmsley are within easy reach. Shops and pub 500 yards.
