"Not as described, pool closed for refurb, not advertised, room said sleeps 3, barely 2, evening barman was absolutely obnoxious"

"Das Gästehaus Luise ist das Nebengebäude vom Hotel Luisenpark . Leider ist es sehr alt und renovierungsbedürftig. Für uns war da keine schöne Wohnatmosphäre. Man hört auch jedes Geräusch von anderen Gästen. Für eine Nacht war es okay und sauber. Nochmals würden wir da aber nicht übernachten. Da ist das Hotel Luisenpark glaube ich besser."

"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"Super schönes Hotel mit leckerem Essen, tollem Service und einer sagenhaften Aussicht mitten in den Weinbergen. Tolle geräumige und saubere Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Maisonette-Zimmer im Haupthaus. Die Matratze könnte ein wenig härter sein und die Vorhänge könnten weniger Licht am Morgen durchlassen. Ansonsten alles tiptop! "Basically the hotel restaurant was not open. We checked in and the owner disappeared. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. It was a. Dry strange experience. We had a mini bar in our room, but basically it was a trip into nearest town 7k away to get provisions. When we checked out in the morning, we were asked for payment . I explained and showed evidence that we had pre paid. Hotel clearly not used to bookings from Expedia. It was a little uncomfortable for all to say the least."
