“The location is close to stores and shops which is a plus. Upon pulling into the parking lot, it looked like I was driving into a construction zone. Staff when checking in at 1:30am was absolutely fantastic. The man was polite and courteous and patient. However after check in he informed us that the hotel is under construction and that the next morning the water would be shut off from 10am-2pm. Walking down the extremely dark hallways to see a broken exiting door. Looked like the handle was……

“The Good: * The staff is absolutely wonderful. Helpful and kind. I hope management appreciates the them because they are holding everything together for the guests enjoyment during all the construction. * Location was perfect to Old Town Scottsdale for dining, shopping, art galleries. * The hotel offers a free shuttle within a two or three mile radius. Not Too Good: * The hotel is under construction, which we didn’t know, and it impacted every aspect of our stay in a negative manner. Truthfully,……

“The night staff member that checked me in was rude. I waited for him to finish stocking items in their store and he seemed annoyed I was checking in at about 10:30. The hotel does not have elevators, the two rooms and sofa bed was not worth carrying 5 people worth of luggage to the third floor. The staff member was happy to point that out there was no elevators as well. The AC did not work in one of the rooms either. If you are comparing this hotel to another one, don't choose this one.”

“The Home Suites by Hilton in northern Scottsdale is near my parents assisted living location and I have had to stay there a number of times. Usually it is just okay, however this time it was better, the accommodations were clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. All in all I was pleased”
