「A good place to have as a base to explore the area. Comfortable especially the double bed, and had everything you may need. It's not luxurious but very practical, good for the dog as long as they can get upstairs.The only down side is the proximity to the road although that was only busy at peak times. Very kind of the local pub to allow parking.It served us well while visiting family in Walls end.」

「Shower drain blocked and reported from day 1. And no one comes to get it fixed nor provide any solution. Staff are great and try to help. But if the office or owner of the apartment are not responding, then staff can’t do much. Location is beautiful .」

「Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. 」

「Nice views of harbour from front windows. House had a musty smell and was showing its age. Bit of water damage one the ceiling of one of the bedrooms was a bit off putting. Owner was helpful with questions. 」

「Great location however the house was not clean on arrival despite owner stating it had been cleaned. I needed to clean sour milk which was throughout the fridge. There was lots of mould and damp spots in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Water was leaking through the ceiling in the kitchen and damaged our food.Owner advised he was trying to patch up the kitchen roof.Unable to use shower as this also leaked into kicheb. Owner suggested i just dry up the leaks and they should "stop...

「Great location for us visiting friends in Eaglescliff.Every thing and more than you can possibly need is provided in the Elms.Very good communication from the owner, even got in touch when it snowed to check we were ok and warm enough.We will definitely see if it's available next time we need to be in the area.」
