「The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again.」

「The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage.」

「The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment . Time to Bar Harbor/Acadia approx 50-55 min.」

「My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. 「Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed.
