What a great historic hotel! A nice change from staying at your average chain hotel! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We were seeing a talk at the Moore Theater which is adjacent so that was perfect! There is also an adjacent coffee shop so we just had to pop down in the morning for some great coffee! Just a couple of block from all things downtown like Pike's Place Marketplace. Highly recommend!

Super close to the market, really good location the only bad thing is that the station near by is full of homeless people, so it felt a little unsafe but other than that great hotel for a weekend

Fun, beautiful historic building. The walls are a bit thin so the neighbours up late making noise did not love our early bird 5 year old.

Liked: The hotel itself. Very clean, cute, charming. All of the staff (except one man - we'll get to that in the "Didn't Like" section) were very nice. There's a little coffee shop next door, very convenient. You had to be buzzed into the hotel because the area is a little sketchy and there seemed to be a lot of homeless individuals. But we still felt safe and that you had to be a hotel guest to get in. No visitors allowed. Didn't Like: The guy who works there named Dom. A completely condescending man who should never, in a million years, work in the hospitality industry. We had an issue with the radiator being stuck on when it was already a 70-degree day and he insisted it was not, in fact, on and we should just prop open our hotel room door and keep the windows open to create a draft. Who keeps their hotel room doors propped open?? Sadly, will never stay here again because of him. But the hotel was fantastic other than him. As long as you're ok with windows and a fan to keep you cool.

1907 hotel so expect old ciche interior. As with any city there are homeless in all areas around the hotel for blocks in any direction. Parking is about 2 blocks away and you have to pay but it was reasonable considering the cost in other lots around the city. Would likely stay there again for a future visit.
