My stay was different since president was staying at the hotel the same days, so there were inconveniences due to that (being unable to get an Uber at the hotel and having to walk several blocks, standing in line to go through metal detector every time I walked in the lobby). But staff was so helpful, bed super comfy. The place seemed a little run down (carpet coming up at edges, etc) but was very clean. Room was spacious and loved the city view.It was a short walk to Pike Place Market, and I felt safe walking alone around hotel.

When we arrived the room we were assigned to, and entered, had not been cleaned after the previous guest. We were provided a new room, two full size beds instead of the one king size bed we signed up for in our reservation. When we first tried to use the TV we could not get any signal or channels. The hotel sent an engineer. He is presently trying to fix it. So far nothing but, hope springs eternal.

We loved our stay here! The beds were a dream, the pool was clean, and the lounge and dining were wonderful. The staff were all so helpful and kind. It is a close walk to the light rail station as well. We would stay here again!

The good: updated rooms, very clean, and close to Pike Market/Monorail. The not so good: Very poor communication regarding the facilities. The pool was closed without any notice given until check-in. Worse than that, three of the four elevators were out of service for a 40 plus story tower, again without notice! We found ourselves camping on the 37th floor outside the elevator waiting for at least half an hour. This hotel was advertised as family friendly but I do not know why. Lastly, parking was $55 daily, again not mentioned anywhere on the Expedia page. Buyer beware when you are dealing with Expedia; who knows what they are not telling you!
