Good spot and clean but a few head scratchers
When we got to the house the thermostat has a lockbox over it and the thermostat was set to 78 degrees. When I mentioned it to the host she said it was “tolerable”. I don’t come to Florida to rent a house in the middle of summer to feel “tolerable”. Then she explained that it was this way because of past renters so I understood a little but then she started to go deeper saying she’s a single mom and was looking for mercy which I gave but why even have a vacation rental house if money is an issue? Sometimes she would answer my texts hours after I texted sometimes she was right away so that was kind of hit and miss. Overall the property was nice and a good spot the host rubbed us the wrong way.
