Red Rock Retreat: Hot tub, walk to creek for swimming,.

Quail Cottage is a charming, and very spacious 1 bedroom freestanding cottage, with its own secluded patio and outdoor seating with a wonderful view and a hot tub for guests exclusive use.The main living room has high ceilings, and lots of light from the large south facing windows, but is shaded in the summer from the sun, by the trees around it. The communal room boasts a full kitchen, dining table and breakfast bar overlooking the patio, has a really comfortable Queen sofa bed (sleeps 2 ) , streaming TV ( Netflix, amazon, YouTube TV), internet and beautiful faux finished walls that go throughout the cottage. The bedroom, also large with big windows, has a king bed, and a queen futon sofa bed for extra sleeping options. The cottage has a full bathroom with bath and shower, and is decorated in wonderful sea colors. The whole cottage has a beautiful Zen comfortable feel to it.
Quail cottage is situated on a 2 acre property at the end of a lane, parking is free and next to the building.
The trails for biking and hiking are right out the door, no need to drive anywhere. Mountain bikers and hikers would love this place. This is a very friendly and relaxed place, with lots of space.
We have chickens, dogs and garden, and teenagers and all the associated activity, and centrally located for Sedona and hiking biking trails. You get the best of everything here, a rural setting, surrounded by the gorgeous red rocks, hiking out the door, with all the restaurants and shops Sedona has to offer, 10 minutes away.
WE do not do month long bookings . The most we do is 10 days, sometimes two weeks- it is not suitable for longer holiday bookings, but only for short stays.

A 5-star stay - comfortable, relaxing, a hot tub under the stars, plus our furry friends could stay too which was a must for us. Our host was super communicative and great to work with. Quail Cottage was truly perfect and we highly recommend for those looking to stay in Sedona but not in the hustle and bustle yet close to hikes, creeks, restaurants, etc!

This has a well decorated, homey feel and both rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen was set up well and the temperature in both rooms was adjustable. The bathroom was filled with nice quality and useful items. I used the hairdryer and the iron and really appreciated the full size ironing board. The full size kitchen table was really useful for our dice and card games, as well for eating at, of course. The hot tub was clean and hot and it came in handy after a long day of walking. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if it is available. My only suggestion to the owners would be to consider a handrail for the stairs. We older people find stairs harder to maneuver when going to the bathroom 4 times a night.

This place hit all my basic requirements: comfy bed, natural linens, ice!, all the right cooking stuff including salt & pepper and oil, a grill, tissue; it's incredible how these simple things are not provided by most hosts. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try out the hot tub, but it looked lovely. A nice quiet, private space in a spectacular location. A great value!

We absolutely loved our visit to Sedona and Quail Cottage was a cornerstone part of this. It was clean and comfortable. Bridget communicated directions with us early so we knew what to expect when we arrived. We felt welcome from the moment we got there. The location was perfect. It is quiet, but close to everything Sedona had to offer. We were able to take advantage of the kitchen to cook some meals and reheat leftovers from some of the wonderful restaurants we visited.Hiking and horseback riding are definite musts. The Sedona Shuttle to Devil's bridge and other great hikes is right up the road. Thank you Bridget for being a wonderful host.

First time out west from Indiana

The property was clean and accurately listed. The emailed instructions were incredibly helpful in locating it as maps got a bit confused. But we were able to anticipate this and that made all the difference. The grounds were quiet and well maintained. the bed was probably the most comfortable bed ive ever slept on, on any vacation. our host was super accommodating when i needed to shift our dates a bit due to a mistake on my part. I would recommend this gem to anyone

Quail Cottage stay

We had a great stay at Quail Cottage. It was in a remote location away from the hustle of Sedona but close enough to be able to get everything. It is near some great hiking spots that are off the beaten path.
