Welcome to your peaceful Lakeside escape in Seguin! Nestled along Lake Placid (Guadalupe River) with private outdoor space, kayaks, paddle board, a relaxing hot tub, and plenty of room for up to 10 guests — this is the ideal home base for a Hill Country adventure or a serene retreat with family and friends.

You have direct water access with your own dock on the lake where you can swim, fish, kayak and paddle board directly from the property.

• 3 bright and comfortable bedrooms + 2 full baths (Note: Bedroom 2 & 3 are connected by a door, you must walk through Bedroom 2 to get to Bedroom 3)

Sleeps 10 - beds for 9 plus two sleeper sofas.

Bedroom 2: 1 Queen + bunk bed (lower = full, upper = twin)

Living room: sleeper sofa (twin)

Confirm you have read the following information and house rules when booking:

CONSUMABLES
We provide an initial and reasonable amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and other consumables like shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and laundry detergent. Beyond the initial supply, our guests are expected to manage their own refills.

PARKING
Parking is available for up to 5 vehicles in covered carports and in front of garage.

PETS
Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome to stay with you for a $55 pet fee PER animal. Please keep animals off furniture and pick up after your dog in the yard. Bags are provided.

SECURITY and CAMERAS
We have a security camera located at the front of the property in the parking area, the front door, and the jetski lift which only views the dock area behind the fence (not the backyard, stairs, or swimming/fishing/boating area).

***LAKE LEVEL UPDATE ***– Amazing Waterfront Views!

Exciting news! As of the last week of April 2026, the lake has fully risen and waterfront access is back at Streamside Retreat! For the first time in several years, we have officially reopened the dock so guests can once again enjoy direct access to the water for kayaking, fishing, relaxing, and soaking in the beautiful lake views.

As the lake has recently returned to full level, the water continues clearing more each week and the dock is now fully accessible for fishing, kayaking and relaxing by the water.

We are thrilled to welcome guests back to enjoy the LAKE and can’t wait for you to enjoy mornings by the water, sunset kayaking, fishing from the dock, and evenings in the hot tub overlooking the lake.

-SMOKER GRILL
After use, please leave outdoor smoker grill as it was when you arrived.

-FLOW OF THE HOUSE-
This is an older lake home with a unique flow. Please note the Master Bedroom has a master bath connected to it. The second bathroom is off the laundry room. Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 are connected. Guests in bedroom 3 must walk through bedroom 2 to exit the room. Wood furnace is inoperable in Bedroom 2.

NEIGHBORHOOD
You drive through a small neighborhood with a couple lots for trailers, a few mobile homes and varying size homes. Some of the homes on the water front are original to the neighborhood and some are brand new.

*** Hot tub rules can be found in the electronic house manual (sent after booked) as well as posted on the property. Please read and follow ALL rules when using the hot tub. Failure to follow rules, resulting in additional cleaning and maintenance by the spa maintenance company will require us to charge guests up to an additional $500 fee for cleaning or possibly draining the hot tub.
