Just a perfect place.

Perfect stay with a more perfect staff. Handy bikes in the garage that take you into town easily. We went to Monteresso al mare by train and in the evening we went to Sestri Levante for dinner (which we preferred over the over-touristic Monterosso) . Breakfast is simply amazing and the hotel is beautifull all together. But again: GREAT staff !

Family summer holiday

We loved our stay here! Although the approach to the hotel is not the most picturesque, once there, it is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very friendly, concienciuos and helpful and there it lots of attention to detail which make the hotel and the stay a delight. Be aware that you will need to drive or take their free-to-hire bikes to get into town (or a fairly long walk).

We drove through the mountains and arrived in an industrial part of town so weren’t too sure about the place as the rain began to fall. The next morning the sun turned the place into a Disney princess film set- the breakfast was fantastico. The staff gave us a walking map and we took a dip in the Mediterranean before shopping in town and eating a gelato. Forget Porto Fino! Save your money and come here!

This is one of the most beautiful hotels you could every stay at. It is elegant and tranquil. The staff is very warm and hospitable. It would be a fantastic honeymoon destination. The staff found us an excellent guide to the mountain villages we had come to visit. There are some good restaurants within walking distance and the hotel breakfast is spectacular. One problem is that there are few taxis in Sestri Levante and you can get stuck downtown. If you have a car, it would be ideal. The hotel also has bicycles. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay.

It's a great hotel to stay with amazing breakfasts, easy access to the rooms, which are very pleasantly furnished, & garden. I think having a car would be a great advantage although we did manage with the bus service & occasional taxi in the evening to return.

Please don’t be fooled by the pictures of this property, it is situated by a tennis court and a motorway, everything is noisy the room the surrounding area making it very expensive. My recommendation is to find a hotel in the centre with a sea view.

This hotel is to die for. Staff simply unbelievable in customer service & attitude. We haven’t experienced this level of comfort anywhere. This is a hidden gem & should not be missed in Sestri Levante. The seaside town is welcoming. Comfortable, & affordable as is the property itself. Five star from our perspective & experience.

Very quiet and private. Large site which is gated and walled. Ample parking on site including in a large multi car garage. The staff are fabulous and cannot do enough for you and there is a lovely pool. The breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend this as a base for either Sestri Levante and/or Le Cinque Terra. There are buses to Sestri that go (hourly) from 100m up the road or (more frequently) from about a 10 minute walk away. They all go to the train station in Sestri from where you can access the Cinque Terra and various boats trips (we went to Portofino on a morning trip). There are limited restaurants nearby but there is a local Trattatoria (Il Torchio) which is good and others within a 20 minute walk. That is really the only slight drawback. But of course it is easy to get the bus to Sestri which is stuffed full of restaurants. They do toasties and salad on site for snacks for lunch but nothing more than that.

Villa Agnese is beautifully and perfectly manicured. Upon entering the gates the grounds and buildings look as though they are ready for a magazine photo shoot. Everyone working are incredibly friendly and helpful. The people working the front desk flawlessly switch between English, Italian, and German. They are located within a short bike ride or taxi ride to the town center and beach. We found this ideal to be very relaxing away from the busy nature of the town, but close enough to get there when you want. They have approximately 15 bikes available for you to ride to the beach or train station, or wherever your adventures take you. Free Wi-Fi available in your room and pool side. A wide variety of food and beverage at your order to be brought to you while sunning next to the pool. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious and found variety each of the 4 days we stayed with them. The rooms were quite comfortable with climate control thermostat, but you may just find that keeping the French doors to the balcony open provides the most comfortable temperature. Villa Agnese provided such an amazing experience that we will be recommending them to anyone traveling to this part of Italy.

Wir sind als Paar ohne Kinder gereist und können die Villa Agnese wärmstens empfehlen! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen und das sollte auch während des gesamten Aufenthalts so bleiben. Ebenfalls positiv aufgefallen ist die Sauberkeit der gesamten Anlage und der Zimmer. Bis ins kleinste Detail gepflegt. Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Wer gern Tennis spielt, kommt voll auf seine Kosten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und dann auch etwas länger bleiben, denn man kann wunderbar abschalten und erholen. Gentilezza, ospitalità e pace. Struttura molto carina e curata, personale squisito e disponibile, camera spaziosa e pulita, colazione abbondante, acqua in camera (2 bottigliette 1 naturale e 1 gasata) rifornita in frigo ogni giorno. Piscina accogliente e intima. Una piccola oasi di pace nonostante l’autostrada vicina e la zona leggermente decentrata ma che permette comunque di muoversi in bici, a disposizione e comprese nel prezzo dell’alloggio. Villa Agnese is een kleinschalig hotel met enorme charme. Het ziet er gezellig uit en de kamers zijn netjes en toegankelijk. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is zelfs subliem. Absoluut een aanrader!
