About this property
Dog Friendly w/flat lot - Between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!
*Flat lot with yard area next to cabin *Fire Pit & Hot tub *Remodeled kitchen *Dogs welcomed w/ pet fee (see pet rules)
Welcome to our newly remodeled cabin. Conveniently located in a peaceful wooded area of Sky Harbor between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, this rustic 2 BR, 2BA cabin can sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children. Being so close to the excitement of attractions like Dollywood and also near all of the outdoor wonders of the national park, this cabin could be great for your next Smoky Mountain adventure.
See our pet policy for information on dogs and the nightly pet fee of $30.00 for up to 2 dogs under 50lbs (be sure to select pets when booking if bringing dogs).
There is a kitchen if you like to cook your own meals. The new cabinets are stocked with the dishes and kitchen equipment you would need to cook your own meals. A soapstone countertop was installed last year and also a live edge wood coffee bar countertop with seating for two in the kitchen. The cabin does not include any food or personal items outside of soap & initial rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. If you are planning a longer stay or plan to cook at the cabin frequently, you may need to take some of your garbage to a local trash site (they do charge a fee for this). For most stays under a week, you can use the outside secured garbage cans and our cleaner will remove it after checkout.
If you need a break from all of the great activities in the area, you can relax inside the living room in front of the electric fireplace while using your own Roku account to access your favorite streaming content. The Roku stick on both TVs and it is set to guest mode. This allows you to enter your checkout date and login to your own accounts. All your accounts will automatically logout on your checkout day.
This quaint cabin has a porch that stretches around the front and one side of the cabin offering many seating locations to take in nature and enjoy the fresh air. Speaking of nature, you will likely see various types of wildlife and insects during your stay. This could include bears. Please read about bear safety. Do not feed the bears or leave car/cabin doors or windows open and unlocked. From October through late November, lady bugs show up in this area in mass. You will find them around the cabin and can be vacuumed or easily swept. Please take note about rules regarding food outside and checkout the National Park Service information on what to do if you see a bear. Insects are common in this wooded area as well.
For safety there is a ring flood light security camera at the front door into the cabin.
While the drive up the mountain has many sharp turns and inclines, when you arrive at this cabin you will find an easy gentle slope of the driveway up to a mostly flat lot with room to play outside. The outside also includes a picnic table and patio table on the deck. The hot tub is on the deck outside of the main bedroom.
Winter weather conditions can make it hard to travel on the roads in this area. Make sure you have enough food and water in the cabin if the power goes out or the roads are blocked. Also be sure to have warm clothing and flashlights in case the power is out in the winter.
Power outages can happen any time during the year. In the mountains rain or wind can cause issues. Sometimes the power is restored within a few hours and other times it takes more than a day.
Our welcome guide will have information about a FB group you can join for local condition updates.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance. Make sure to check the terms of your travel insurance to know what coverage it will provide. Please make sure you check the cabin for personal items before leaving. We may not be able to locate lost items left behind. If we can locate them, we may be able to mail them to you for a fee that would include postage and a service fee.

Important Note: Fire Pit - Sky Harbor (our home owner association) strongly recommends no open burning, however it is not completely banned by the association. While we do have a fire pit on site, we ask that you be extremely careful when using it. We are located in a wooded area and fire safety is important to us and our neighbors. Local government officials will not permit open fires based on weather conditions, and other factors to help prevent accidental forest fires. Please check local information to confirm that an open fire is permitted on the day you are planning to use the fire pit. Sometimes there are local burn bans that come with high penalties if they are violated. Rules will be shared in your welcome guide prior to arrival. You are responsible for providing seasoned dry logs ready for burning. We also recommend bringing your own fire safe gloves for handling logs and fire pit tools.

Loved the property. It was perfect for my husband and myself. Was very quiet yet not too remote. The location was perfect. The dogs loved walking and we loved seeing the mountain views. Wonderful Stay. Would definitely stay again.
My friends and I stayed here for a quick girls weekend getaway and it was the perfect mountain cabin! The hot tub and outdoor fireplace made for a memorable weekend. The home is set up a little in the mountainside, and was so idyllic! And a quick and easy drive to all things Gaitlinburg.
This was a great cabin for our 5 day stay. It is very clean and the location is perfect- right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. But the highlight was watching a mama bear and her three cubs while we were outside on the porch. Highly recommend!
Perfect location for everything from hiking to going into town. The cabin was clean and had everything you needed to enjoy a weekend away. The owners were very understanding and responsive. The lot has plenty of room for multiple vehicles. Would highly recommend!
Great location in relation to getting around quickly. Beds slept great. Hot tub was wonderful. The last mile up the mountain has lots of tight turns. Would be difficult if you are pulling anything.
Overall a great experience and lovely cabin.
Great cabin in mountains. Very clean and no issues getting at checkin. Response was very quick from owners. Rare flat lot so that was pretty nice. The road to cabin was windy but as expected . Just go a little slow and will be fine. Quiet too which we liked.
We had a great time staying at this cabin. While the drive there was a bit windy, we appreciated the flat space to park on and have our dogs go out occasionally. The hot tub was a night getaway at the end of our busy days. The kitchen was spacious and allowed us the comfort to cook meals in the cabin. The nook was perfect to eat as a family or play family games. The host was incredibly accommodating to our family and even helped us retrieved a left item after we left town. Highly recommend.
Overall this was an excellent stay. It was in an excellent location, secluded but yet closed to every entertainment (restaurants, shopping). We got to see a bear visiting us a couple of times. Wonderful experience. It does have everything you need to feel at home. Only downside was the cleaning, inside there was a couple of build up spider webs and the outside table/chairs were not cleaned but other than that I fully recommend it.

Ok experience
Overall an ok experience.
Mosquitoes in cabin were horrible, made it hard to enjoy outside, a little more maintenance outside would make this cabin a good location, poor to no light on porch specially where grill is located made it difficult to even be outside past 6.
The property is cozy and functional--loved the outdoor space, wrap around porch and numerous chairs, hot tub, firepit and flat area for the dogs. Easy to find--well marked location-a few windy roads to get there but not bad. The accommodations were actually higher-end than I expected--beds really comfortable, hall bathroom updated (I did not see the master bath), nice sized bedrooms (the master was huge) kitchen fully stocked and easy to navigate, dishwasher, air conditioner, electric fireplace, Roku TV, hot tub. Beautiful area of cabins and yet still private, near Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain trails. It was ideal for us (a couple, a single and 2 small dogs). I almost never expect better than advertised--this was!
