Unwind on the porch with morning coffee while swaying in the rocking chair, roast marshmallows around the firepit out back, and play DVDs on the big screen TV for movie nights in the mountains.

Stretch your legs in the spacious yard from time to time and fire up the charcoal grill for fun cookouts together. Holiday Getaway

House just like the listing said. Close to everything with the new road that leads to Teaster Lane. Dollywood just about three miles away. Open Kitchen and dining room, enough seating for a family of six (recliner, love seat with two rockers or recliners and a couch. More than I expected. And yes I would stay here again!Thanks so much for the stay!

Unbearable Sulfur Smell

The property itself was fine. However, the overwhelming sulfur smell needs to be added to the listing. I read reviews and most people were ok with it. The moment you walk into the house the smell of rotten eggs will knock you down. We couldn’t shower, wash our hands or do anything with the water. When we flushed the toilet we had to close the lid and turn the fan on. This ruined our entire stay. Now, everything else was good, so if you can handle the smell go for it. But for us, it made the stay unpleasant.

Great location

The location was fantastic being close to Dollywood and Teaster Lane to avoid traffic. The house was nice as well. We had plenty of room for the 4 of us without using the sleeper sofa. There is a notice to conserve water to avoid running the well dry as it could take 24 hours to refill but we had no problems showering and washing laundry. The smell from the sulfur water was evident but wouldn’t deter us from booking again as the location is valuable and the smell was tolerable. We will be staying again. Thanks!

The property was cute and close to everything. Really clean except for outside seating areas. Things to note: if you aren't used to the sulfur water smell, this is not for you. It was very strong. Also, if you are planning on people using the couch, the bathrooms are both in the bedrooms so that is inconvenient.

Great Experience

House was easy to find and SO close to Dollywood. The perfect location for our weekend getaway. Upon checking in- we were pleased with how spacious the house was. It’s larger than it looks online so we were happy about that! House was clean and we had an enjoyable stay. There was a broken shelf in the bathroom upon arrival but nothing major. The water is sulfur but we knew that upon booking and it didn’t bother us! Overall- we loved this place and would book again. Great price for what you get.

This was a perfect location to get to the places we needed to go. We were able to take the back roads and stay out of traffic. It was also nice that it was a 1 level house, since we are older and have trouble with stairs.

Farm House Retreat

Only thing missing was the hot tub and fire pit with chairs. (Fire pit was there, but no chairs). If you need handicap accessibility ask in advance. Hard to get my 90 year old mother in and out of tub/shower. Overall a great get away.
