Property was as described. Could have had more interior seating. Had a couple of problems, but host was upfront and communicated the issues. As well as making everything right. Would stay again.

Cleanliness needs to be addressed. Especially under items that do not generally get moved. We had to spend time at the beginning of our stay sweeping and mopping the downstairs. I did not let our 1 year old granddaughter crawl on the floor at all during the stay. The outside foliage was over grown around the pool and fire pit. A yard crew came the day before we left to trim. We ended up cleaning grass debris out of the pool as well as rocks that made their way in from the trimming. The grill was the worst we have ever seen so we did not use it. Home just needs some tender loving care. There were some water pressure issues which were mostly resolved. We liked the beds and the layout. The view was the best. I would consider staying here again, but a few things definitely need addressed.

My family of 9 enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious and the views were amazing! There are 4 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms which was a plus. The beds in all the rooms were very comfy. The mountain views from the large balcony were amazing!! We loved swimming the the heated pool every evening enjoying the view!

It was a rough start

The outside sitting areas were filthy. The vegetation was overgrown everywhere and you couldn’t even use the outside fire pit from the overgrown grass and the plants were growing into the pool area. The pictures on the listing were extremely decieving. Landscapers came to trim the vegetation but left the remnants everywhere and we had to clean it up ourselves so grass wasn’t all over around the pool. They did get the cleaning crew to come back and wipe down the patio furniture and sweep the covered porch but that should have been done before we got there. The inside of the house very dirty as well. Someone spilled some water on the kitchen floor and we wiped it with a piece of paper towel and it was black. My wife went to the store to buy slippers because she didn’t want to walk around barefoot in the house. The sleeping arrangements were good though and the beds were very comfortable. The road was quite steep but we made it up in our car. The road was washing out and if it had rained more we might have had a hard time getting up or down but it turned out ok.

Pictures were not accurate.

We were advised the road leading to the property was a little steep but not bad. Not only was it bad, it needs to be filled with gravel as we almost bottomed out going up the road. As we pulled up to the property I can see it needed work. As we got inside the furniture was not the same as the pictures and should be replaced and was very uncomfortable. In addition, the mattresses were stained and the beds were not comfortable. The tables on the decks were rusted in spots. Our family usually rents homes for vacation but after this experience, we no longer will. I further want to state that we had to leave early the next day as there was no water due to the well. Although the host was quick with communication, the host stated that if we left that night, he would give us a full refund, if not he would just charge us 50% for the first night. As it was 1:00 am there was no way for us to leave as not only due to the time it was pitch black out. The host did decide that due to the water situation, I was given a full refund. Fortunately we were able to find a hotel that can accommodate my family as I needed 4 rooms. Also, the house was not very cleaned.

Beautiful view

The view was gorgeous, we loved the porch and the pool. The house had fun amenities like games and a large table that was fun to gather at. The road was difficult for us to get up but my sister had no issue in her truck. Suggest a sturdy vehicle with 4 wheel drive.

Great Mountain House with a 5 star view

Overall incredible stay especially for a relatively inexpensive price. The view was absolutely immaculate and the pool was a huge bonus! The owners were very responsive with questions and the listing is very accurate. As the listing noted, you will likely need a 4x4 to make it up the driveway but because they mentioned that we were proactive with a jeep and didnt run into any issues making it up the drive. We did get some rain but the pool was not negatively impacted for us. In fact, on the heaviest day of rain, the pool crew proactivelt was out checking ph and chemicals so we were still able to swim. One of the big positives that the listing didnt necessarily talk about is that each bedroom has an attachdd bathroom. This made it really easy for all of us to stay and get ready on our schedule.Excellent stay!

Love the view of the mountains. Kids loved the pool and didn’t want to leave. Might update the pictures, there was not a swing on the porch. The road was rough but manageable even with 2 wheel drive.

Bear Friendly Family Getaway

My honest review of our stay at Mountain Manor. The good: The location is great. Close enough to all the attractions but far enough away that its quite.The home is spacious.4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All the bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Especially the memory foam king sizes. The kitchen is very spacious. You also have a large dinning table that held all of my family easily. The pool is a nice addition to have as well as the hot tub. My children enjoyed the pool and i enjoyed having loungers to sit and watch them play.There is a good size pourch and ample seating for you to enjoy the mountain views. However, the best part of our stay was having a adorable bear cub come and visit us 3 days in a row. He came all the way up on the porch to the front door. Where else will you experience that?We ran into a issue with the air conditioning on the second floor but the host was quick to respond and sent someone out to check on it for us. At midnight no less. Now if i could change anything about the property or our stay:The cleaning could be a lot better.few little things in the home could use updating. New pots and pan in the kitchen. Definitely more towels for those who are staying more than a day or two.The porch light did not work, nor did the fans in two of the bedrooms. The washer and dryer are a nice addition but the dryer takes 2 full cycles to get even close to dry.The driveway is rock, steep, and washed out in several places.

AMAZING VIEW

This property has such a stunning view. We stayed here with our family and wish the stay was longer. The drive up to the cabin is all gravel so definitely need experienced driver to get up to it, but once you’re there the photos don’t do it justice. We all had such a great time.

Beautiful Views and Close Proximity to Cities

Pictures of the property view do not fully capture the beauty of the landscape. 11 of us friends came for spring break and comfortably fit in the house. Huge kitchen and was easy to store all groceries and cook. Shuffle board was tore up on the surface, but we spent most of our time at the house in the hot tub. Highly recommend families and large friend groups staying here. Commute time is more than reasonable for the privacy and price.
