“Horrible experience, my family and I drove there from Miami Florida. It’s a 12 hour drive, some of us had to work the first day so we left a little bit late. We didn’t get to this lodge until 5:45 am. I had spoken to ray and he had given me the door code for my room. When we arrived I opened the door at first glance everything looked fine. “Parking was atrocious if you want to park your own car! My card wouldn't open the gate to parking 2 separate times! I had to back out into traffic and heavy foot traffic both times to go return to the Hotel and get the card changed. Finally gave up. They do have valet parking though if you don't mind teenage kids parking your $80,000 truck! Then it stopped working for our room door. Had to get it replaced twice. “Our stay at Dollywood was truly magical. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed taking a walk around the property—the scenery is just stunning and really adds to the overall experience.
